KnitUK Flower Loom (9cm): 20 pegs

I purchased this flower loom primarily for knitting mini Christmas stockings for charity. I already own a 12 peg flower loom which I have used with chunky, aran weight yarn, or two strands of DK weight yarn held together. This 20 peg loom allows me to knit using just one strand of DK yarn. It does take longer to knit as there are more pegs and you have to increase the number of rows, but I am really pleased with the result.Delivery from KnitUK was quicker than initially estimated, and a courtesy email was received to confirm that the order had been despatched. On arrival, I was delighted with the package which was presented inside a paper gift bag. The loom, hook, yarn guide are contained in their own plastic, zip-top bag for convenience. There is a full-colour page of instructions on how to create a flower (with the reverse being instructions for the spool tool, a different product which I think was previously available as a combined bundle). There is also a spare peg, two metal stitch marker charms and a brooch back, which you can sew onto the back of your loomed flower. Also enclosed was another lovely stitch marker charm as a free gift to celebrate KnitUK's fourth anniversary :)The loom itself feels sturdy and of good quality. On my other flower loom, I often find that the pegs become loose and need pushing into their slots; I didn't have that problem in this case. I already own the full set of round and long looms from KnitUK, so I'm aware that you can add pegs according to the yarn weight you are using. I'm not sure however that the pegs in this flower loom are removable and I daren't pull them out! It is suggested that you can always knit on alternate pegs if using a thicker yarn.The whole presentation and packaging of this loom would make an ideal gift to a seasoned loom knitter or a beginner. Highly recommended.

Nice loom and a good lot of extras, bought for gloves and boot cuffs

I've got small hands and I wanted to loom knit myself some fingerless gloves but the 24 peg loom I have is too big, plus the peg spacing is too big for the yarn I used so I got this and it's the perfect size.I also made a yarn flower following the instructions that came in the box which it looks better than what I was expecting.It's a very sturdy little loom, it only took me a few rows to get used to the size as it's the smallest one I've used to date, it was a bit awkward to begin with but all good now (if you have issues with your hands you may find it hard to use tho).KnitUk also send little gifts with it like a couple of peg markers and stitch markers which are very handy along with what's in the description.Looking forward to seeing what else I can make on it

The actual kit is great and just what I wanted as I needed a really small loom. However, what was amazing was how it was packaged/posted... it was like getting a present 😊 it was packaged beautifully and included was a free gift of stitch markers I will definitely order again from here 😊

Well presented in a nice gift bag. Even get free stitch markers. However I assumed it would be much bigger than it is. It’s the same size as the 12 peg loom, but has 20. Not what I was looking for.

Beautifuly packaged, with lots of little extras allowing you to get started straight away. Item is superior to other small looms with 20 pegs (which are removable) to allow for fine gauge and greater creative opportunities. Clear instruction leaflet.

The item is just as described, and the packaging is above all standards - as said by someone else already. It doesn't look like something you ordered but like something a friend would have send you as a gift :)PS I used the loom not for flowers so far but for making mittens for young kids. They worked out fab for that :)
