Used this to fill humidifers
We were tired of standing at the water cooler to fill pitchers to pour water into our humidifiers. This made it so easy. Put the jug on the counter and put pitcher under spigot and hit the button. On one charge it would run out a 5 gal jug and a bit more out of the next one before needing a recharge so good battery life. The silicone cap fit Premo and Hinkley jugs well.

Sleek aesthetic and perfectly functioning
The media could not be loaded. I’m really happy I found this water pump. Originally, I had a top load hot/cold dispenser where you have to flip the jug upside down. This was back before most people had their own dispensers, so something burned out over the years. Thinking I couldn’t fix it, I started looking into the manual style of pump tops that go directly on the jug. I have a pretty strong aversion to distracting colors in my home, so I was happy to compromise the reliability of manual pumping for this sleek design. I’m really happy with the strength of the water flow and how reliably it seems to be working. Even if this one burns out it’ll at least be less plastic waste.Edit 2025: I moved from that RV into a house I’m rebuilding, so I use this pump as my water source for everything at the moment. It still works great and holds its charge for a very long time, but I noticed 2 things that are worth mentioning:1) it auto shuts off fairly quickly, so you have to hit the button to restart it, if you’re doing dishes or filling a bucket this can be annoying. It seems odd to me that it auto shuts off because it also has a control fill button for shorter flow.2) to conserve water I turn off and on frequently, so I’m making fewer refill trips. For whatever reason, it really doesn’t like that and will, what I call “go schizo”, pumping out small bursts of water you can’t stop while the light blinks, or it’ll run continuously and you can’t stop it, or it’ll stop working all together for awhile. These are definite drawbacks, but I’ve learned its temperament, mainly, you just need to wait 1 full second, plus a slight pause between clicks. If clicking a lot, allow 2-3 seconds between clicks.Despite the drawbacks, I appreciate that it works similar to a faucet, leaving me hands free, which has become a very important feature. You never realize your water use habits until it becomes an obstacle for basic life functions. I think this is good feedback for those primarily using this for camping, because that’s basically my lifestyle at the moment. Its most impressive features are the battery life, being very compact, recharge time, and quality tubing, but I’m glad I was also able to fix my old Avalon top load dispenser too, I now use that for potable (drinking) water, and outdoor/hose water for the rechargeable one to do dishes and all that.I’ll do another video/review for my Avalon dispenser because I’ve learned A LOT about them over the last 8 years I’ve had mine. Mainly that they’re built to break, particularly Avalon, and they don’t do replacement parts, BUT, it’s an otherwise quality product (like IPhones) and I figured out how to fix it’s common issue, so I’d actually recommend them despite the somewhat scammy design.Overall, I’d say I prefer a my standard dispenser for small use and hot/cold features, but this rechargeable head style has been a great companion that allows way more range of motion, filling up larger containers, flexibility of use, etc. Both styles truly have their merits.

LOVE IT.
We keep a 5 gallon jug by the dog bowls to fill their water, and constantly tipping it was a pain. This thing is perfect and has had daily use for about two months. We've charged it once. It works great, the battery lasts forever, it's easy to charge, and the water comes out at an expected speed.

Apparently continuous has more than one meaning... NOT!
Ah, the HiPiCok Water Dispenser—where “continuous” means “about 2 liters” and “friendly for elders” apparently means assuming they lack the cognitive ability to stop pouring water. What a marvel of modern engineering!First off, let’s talk about this “continuous pumping” feature. Continuous, you say? If by “continuous” you mean “stops when it feels like it,” then sure, I guess. I tried to fill a large jug, only to have the dispenser take an unscheduled break every couple of liters. Maybe it just needed a moment to reflect on its life choices—much like I did after buying this thing. And then there’s the advertising. “Friendly for elders?” Oh, absolutely! Because nothing says “elder-friendly” like assuming they’ll be baffled by the concept of a full glass. I suppose this is great if you think your grandparents are in constant danger of flooding the kitchen every time they get thirsty. In reality, this just means they have to keep pressing the button over and over—how convenient! On the bright side, the pump does, in fact, dispense water. That’s about where the positives end. If you enjoy unpredictability, frustration, and appliances that redefine words to suit their own purposes, then by all means, give the HiPiCok a try! Otherwise, just use an old-fashioned pitcher—it’s far more reliable, requires no misleading claims, and won’t shut off whenever it feels like it.Would I recommend this product? Only if you’re looking for a conversation piece about false advertising. Otherwise, save yourself the trouble and find something that understands the meaning of “continuous.”
