LUPO Digital Pocket Precision Scales 1000 x 0.1g - Accurate Portable Jewellery Food Weighing Scale with Back-lit LCD Display

I needed something to weigh out food portions but also for weighing letters to make sure the correct stamp valus was fixed. These scale fit the bill for both of those and I couldn't be more pleased. Ther arrived quickly and are excellent. Very easy to use and very accurate. You can check by weighing one coin, a 20p should be 5g and a 50p 8g for example. The TARE function comes in handy when weighing food portions. Put your container on the scale, and press the tare button to zero the scales again before weighing your food.There is lots more functionality to explore but for now these are excellent and do the job brilliantly. Definitely recomment the scales, which incidntly are a ridiculously great price for what they are. Customer service from LUPO was also excellent so no need to look elsewhere, these are the ones to buy!

I bought these scales as a measure to mix liquids where the ratios are very precise. These scales are excellent, especially as they can measure from a tenth of a gram right up to a kilogram. But, the lit display goes in to power save mode very quickly and doesn't give me time to undo and mix the liquids I wish to add to the one already on the scales. (Can't prepare them beforehand as I am dealing with base solutions, catalysts and additives) If it hadn't been for that I would have given the product five stars. But hey, for the price, it's a good deal - the few kitchen scales which have this level of sensitivity are hugely expensive by comparison.

as in title -A MINOR POINT: the box says it packages models with capacities 100g, 200g, 300g, 500g, 1000g but no tick-box is ticked - but no matter because the capacity is on written the front of the scales -AN OBSERVATION: all makes & models of electronic scales weighing in increments of 0.1g sold on Amazon are made in China, ie. they're very similar but with very slight surface variations (so the below instructions should apply to all of them)THE V.SLIGHT DRAWBACK is the "Engrish" instructions! - so here's what I wrote to remind myself how to use it next time:TO OPEN THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT WITHOUT pressing on the scales' weighing-plate ("salver") (important because pressing on plate could easily apply >1kg force & thus break the scales), hold the scales BY THE EDGES ONLY & preferably with the hard cover on - press (fairly hard) on the round indentation on the scales¡¦ base, while pushing the cover out towards the scales¡¦ top edge, until there¡¦s a small gap, then slide the cover off.TO SWITCH ON press the power button Q (sorry, exact symbol not on PC) - unit displays 8888.8 for a few seconds in white then 0.0 still in white, then after a few more seconds, the display goes much darker, displaying the 0.0 only very faintly.When it switches itself off, obviously no numbers display - the display is completely dark.To save even more power, to switch the unit off manually, just press the power button Q again.TO RECALIBRATE THE SCALES The instructions recommend this is done whenever the temperature has changed since last use - as it only takes a few seconds (once calibration weight's prepared, which only needs doing once - see below), this may as well be done every time the scales are used.FIRST have at hand a pre-prepared calibration weight of 100.0g or its multiples up to 900g (see at end) - WARNING: once this procedure is started, it can't be stopped, even by removing the batteries for hours!NEXT switch on & wait until display is 0.0,press UNIT button until the weighing-unit is grams - g displays in the top left corner,press & HOLD (for about 3 seconds) the power button Q until it displays _ _ 0 _ _ , then let go, the display soon changes to FLASHING a weight of 500.0 etc. - if it's not flashing the weight of the pre-prepared calibration weight, press TARE repeatedly until it does (display sequence: 100.0, 200.0, 300.0, 400.0 etc.),carefully place the pre-prepared calibration weight onto the scales IN ONE GO not in stages/pieces,after a few seconds the 500.0 etc. stops flashing, displaying a STEADY 500.0 etc. - the scales are now recalibrated -if the display is slightly off an exact hundred, repeat until the display IS an exact hundred.TO WEIGH OBJECTS IN A CONTAINER (A tare is a weight that scales are instructed to ignore, by re-setting the zero to that weight.)switch on & wait until display is 0.0,place the empty container on the scales - its weight is displayed,press TARE - the display changes to _ _ 0 _ _ & then changes to 0.0,put the objects to be weighed into the container - their weight is displayed without the container's weight.When finished using that container, remove it from the scales - its weight is displayed as negative (ie. with a - on the far left of the display) - press TARE again - the display reverts to 0.0TO USE THE PIECES/COUNTING FACILITY - see the instructions that came with it (I've not used that).TO MAKE A CALIBRATION WEIGHT OF 100.0g USING UK COINS (UK coin weights from [...] & click on other coins in left-hand column.) 1p 3.56g*, 2p 7.12g*, 5p 3.25g, 10p 6.5g, 20p 5.0g, 50p 8.0g bank coin bag 0.75g (the newer, v.slightly opaque kind - I weighed 20 of them & divided for this weight)100g = 10 of 10p coins & 7 of 20p coins - or, for ease of adding to scales IN ONE GO, use a bag:100g = bank coin bag & 5p coin & 20p coin & 14 of 10p coins (0.75g + 3.25g + 5g + 91g) (* So 8p in 1p &/or 2p coins weighs not exactly 1 oz but 1.0046 oz ¡V one lives & learns! -for 8p to weigh 1.0 oz [28.349523g], coins'd have to weigh: 1p 3.54g [3.5436903], 2p 7.09g [7.0873807].)

Display will keep showing 0.0g while I pour in more yeast, and suddenly jump to 0.5g or so.Useless when 0.3g is what you needed...

The scales do not weigh milligrams it only weighs grams. Not what stated in description. Waste of money

Very pleased with my purchase. Have had the product for nearly two years now and can't fault it.Accurate to 0.1g in my experience. Have not used for any product weighing more than 20g but between the ranges of 0g to 10g it has been very useful. To ensure accuracy before measurement, place a penny on scale, should weigh in at 3.5g.P.s. This is nicely pocket sized ;)

The items calibrations instructions are incorrect.

For the price I hadn't expected anything particularly fantastic but I just needed some light scales that do very small weights.They actually look quite stylish if that's possible for scales really. They were great value and I am wholly impressed with them. A nice addition to my little home-made workout supplements desk. I'll look at the other products for sale from these guys because I'd highly recommend these in a heartbeat.They even come in a nice little foamy/leather pouch which was unexpected- they also come in a nice case as well so overall very very good value for money.

Die Waage ist nicht viel größer als eine Zigarettenschachtel und sehr leicht. Perfekt für unterwegs. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Ich bin zu 100% zufrieden.

Die Waage wiegt unterschiedliche Werte beim gleichen Gegenstand aber meist nur um 0,3g unterschied trotzdem für meinen Zweck unbrauchbar MfG Lukas

Balance vraiment pas chère mais qui fonctionne très, très bien.Si vous n'avez qu'un usage occasionnel, elle est faites pour vous.
