If you wire it up correctly, this thing flies. It handled my specific need with ease. The touch functions work well. Fair notice, you need an Arduino Due in order to get enough speed from your micro controller to drive this high color unit. I like the fact that we can wire directly to the pins and we don’t have to use a shield. That makes it perfect for my application.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It has been working well for me, just like the other users, but I hate the SD Card implementation. 1) It requires a larger SD card, instead of using micro SD. 2) The card pops out a little more than 1/2" past the body of the display.I use 1" screens, and they have spring loaded microSD readers and they don't protrude from the display, so I know it's possible on screens 1/4th the size.E.g. If I want to design a case, I have to make it 25% wider for this display.

These can work with 5V Arduinos, but require 3.3V signals. I've had other 3.3V stuff work with 5V Arduinos, so I initially tried the 2.4 inch version with NO voltage conversion. This did NOT work. I then tried using resistors to form a voltage divider to get approximately 3.3V and this did not work either. Not sure if due to an error on my part or not. Having all those resistors on a breadboard is asking for a short so there may have been one.I ended up getting the 3.5 inch version and used the level shifters listed below. This worked well. I was not sure if the 2.4 inch screen was OK or if I fried it with 5V. I tried it by swapping it directly out with the (working) 3.5 inch setup and it worked as well. The instructions and code are all on the website. However, I decided to use it with the adafruit library and it worked perfectly fine! Pretty good build quality and would buy again for the price.

Ok, this is great little screen and it pares up really nicely to an ESP32. Google 320x240 SPI Serial ILI9341 with ESP32. It does take a little tweaking in the Arduino IDE. There are 9 wires that go to 12 (I think) pins on the screen. There are several examples that are included with the Arduino library that will help show off the features and give code examples. I have not tried the SD card, so I cannot speak to that but a lot of other people commented on how well it works. There is an included stylus, but I really only used that during the initial setup. It is a resistive touch display, so no multi touch. The nice thing with resistive touch is that it works with gloves on.

I ordered this to compare the programming of the TFT Display to the CYD displays. The link to the website provided interesting but incomplete information. I was able to learn the most about the displays from the Random Nerd Tutorials.I am very satisfied with the product and would purchase them again in the future.

The screen worked great, had decent color and viewing angels. However I could not get the touch driver to work correctly. I tested this display on Arduino, ESP32 and Teensy 4.1 with the same results, no touch. And yes I was using the stylus. I tried various touch drivers and pin options, but could never get it to work. Everything the vendor suggested also would not work. I would recommend skipping this board and spend the extra $2 on the capacitive touch display this vendor offers.
