Finally a USB C 3.1 Adapter that works
This is my third attempt to buy one of these. All the other brands don't seem to come up to spec, but UGREEN is trustworthy and just works. It's worth the extra.

Needed it to connect my usb c cable to a usb A port - works as expected. Good quality, can carry around as well if required after installing the separate string provided.

Does not work if you want to connect a hub for HDMI or VGA out purposes. Good product otherwise.
I specifically asked the question prior to the purchase and I got the responses from two users, but it does not work if you want to connect a USB-C hub for HDMI or VGA out purposes to your laptop or pc that has USB 2.0 or 3.0.As most of the hubs to extend displays these days are only supporting USB-C, I purchased this to connect USB-C hub with this adapter, and connect this adapted to the USB 2.0 / 3.0 of my laptop. But is doesn't work. The hub was not even detected by when I plugged it in.If you have use for it, other than the above, then you can buy it.It is a good product otherwise.
