Super simple and effective
This is my first time trying to grow a garden, so I wanted something fool-proof. You need to saturate the heck out of the pellets to get them to grow. They pop up about 2.5-3 inches and the soil is deep brown when ready. Dig a little hole with the eraser tip of a pencil (check seeds for the depth), and sprinkle 2-3 seeds. After less than a week, many of my seeds have already sprouted. Some reviews say these greenhouses break easily. The plastic cover is somewhat flimsy, but as long as you aren't throwing it around, you'll be fine. I also didn't run into any issues with the bottom leaking, but it's probably a good idea to put a tray underneath so you don't ruin you window sill!

So easy and great results!
This pod kit is fantastic. Just let the pods swell from water, poke a hole, cover with the lid and days later, your plants are growing!. The tray is convenient for transporting them around until they are ready to go into the ground.

Good but needs heavier plastic
Easy to use and worked well. Good soil. Only complaint is that the plastic that it is made of is very thin. Once watered, it becomes heavy and is very difficult to pick up as the plastic bends too much.

I can't say enough good things about these. If your germinating seeds, this is your friend. I grow a few dozen superhots pepper plants every year and this cut my germination time in half. No paper towel method. No over/under watering in a generic seed tray. Set them and forget them until a few days later when they sprout. I'll never go back to any other way.

Love this size!
For my uses, this is the best Jiffykit. It's got the 50mm pellets, which are perfect for anything with a strong tap root. Also,as far as I can tell, it's the only pellet that doesn't require unwrapping the pellet liner before planting. This liner is like paper, the other sizes have some sort of nylon filament type of fabric, which I doubt will decompose. When hardening off, the 50mm size also doesn't dry out as quickly.I would also recommend getting a cover that is extra tall that has side and top vents. Frequently the weather doesn't cooperate and you have to keep seedlings inside longer, the taller cover really helps with that.

These work great
Love the fact that it has a little "cup" holder for the peat pellets. They don't fall over like they do when they sit freely. Bought 4 of these all together and more peat pellets to reuse them.

This size is the best for starting all your seeds
I was able to find only 1 of this product in my area so I had to order them. I was so happy when I received them and was able to get some more of my vegetables started. This size has proven to me to be the best to get your seeds off to a much stronger plant. I actually had use one of mine for a friend I was helping with her plants and she wasn't getting near the success I was with this Jiffy Tomato starter, don't know what she used but they were thrown away. Now hers are doing a lot better too. Highly recommend this product over some of the others on the market

Love love love
Love love love! Just a tip however save the black plastic container and buy the refills they sell next season. Just shove them in a shed or junky closet until next season and then just pay half the price of these for the refill pouches!
