Introducing Game Theory: A Graphic Guide (Graphic Guides) Paperback – March 2, 2017

This book doesn't go into much of the math, but does a good job of clearly showing the principles of game theory. Certainly good for a high level introduction. Worth a read (it is a really quick read) even if you are going to be diving much deeper into the field.

This book was very quick and enjoyable to read with plenty of illustrations and examples to complement the information on each chapter. The book presents the subjects with a very practical application to everyday life which makes the information easier to comprehend and to retain for the reader.I recommend this book for anyone wanting to know what Game Theory is about and how it impacts their lives even if they are not aware of it.

I used this book as a source for my capstone project during my undergraduate program earning my bachelors degree in mathematics. It made me chuckle. It had great examples and information. I need a place to start researching game theory and this book was an excellent starting point. Since game theory is so vast, it can’t encompass everything. But they did a damn fine job.

Pseudo intellectual nonsense. For smug leftists, brainwashed into liberal complacency. There is no way these genuises wouldnt be billionnaires if a fraction of this were able to be explained with cartoons. They cant predict jack squat. Nice illustrations, and an education in jargon. You are better off reading a horoscope. Okay..some psych truth here..but mostly common knowledge. Waste if time. Better to read a cookbook. To use any of these tips..youd have to be smarter than a person who requires cartoons for remedial learning.

Game theory can be a very intimidating topic to learn. The math and logic skills necessary to do it well always made me feel like I would need to study a great number of prerequisites before I could tackle the subject.This book has changed my opinion of that, not to say that I don’t think those prerequisites are any less useful, just that the concepts of game theory can be understood without knowing everything beforehand.The authors presented a wide variety of useful tools and examples that make the subject clear and interesting!Highly recommend for anyone interested in the topic!!

I never grasped how Game Theory plays a part in so many aspects of everyday life. Some of the concepts and theories were a little abstract for me but the graphic aspect help me ground the ideas with more practicality. This was a very useful introduction to something I felt was important but I didn't understand why. Now I do.

This was a great book focused on game theory’s central ideas.I have read other books on game theory and my eyes glossed over. This was the perfect level to get the general understanding of the concept.

An informative, useful quick reading introduction to Game Theory. Sufficient information to entice readers to explore the concepts further without getting lost in the mathematics.
