Christmas nostalgia! As a child growing up, my parents had the album and radio stations played it!

Traditional Christmas Songs from decades ago ('60's) by a very capable and popular singing group. One song ("Christmas Bride") was new to me and is now one of my favorites.

Would definitely recommend.

Fun CD that takes you back in time when a good percentage of performers actually believed the Christian message in most of the songs, which were focused on the true meaning of Christmas and there was a sacredness about them. Much of modern Christmas music just isn't the same in my opinion, different in a not so good way.

I listened to this as a child 1950s-Then my children listened to this 1980s- cazette was lost. So my daughter wanted it & fir her children I got the cd Got 2 for her one for meIssue: one of the cases had a crack cd is safe & alright. There was no writing in the outside package with FRAGILE I had already opened mine & didn't see the crack in the case until I was packing the box if gifts to ship to my daughter & grandkidsConclusion I'll be buying a couple more JUST TO HAVE - in case these are no longer available

The classic album, originally released in 1959 (the year I was born) features songs you hear every year on the radio and in shopping malls. The songs still hold up well. Mostly familiar and upbeat songs on the secular side. What Child is This is the one exception to this, but like all the other songs, it sounds great. Jingle Bells, White Christmas, Here Comes Santa Claus - they're all here. I believe Christmas Bride is an original song, and "Rudolph" has a completely new verse that I haven't heard on any other version of it.This was Ray's first holiday album - the one that started it all, as it were. If you like your holiday songs in a traditional and upbeat style - this album (or CD) is for you. You'll probably find it in the budget bin - or you can get it here on amazon.com.

Impresionante y sorprendente. Ray Conniff me ha sorprendido con este CD de música navideña, con un toque juvenil y desenfadado muy agradable.

E' un disco Christmas with Coniff) che conosco da quando ero piccola. Avevo LP e adesso sono felice di avere anche il CD. Ne ho comperato uno anche per la figlia!
