Don’t bother
Unusable. Bought for my daughter who’s studying fashion and design at uni. Thought it would be really handy for her to whip out and stitch stuff at the last minute. First use, it kept pulling and breaking the cotton. Every time after, it just snapped the thread so she’s never actually used the thing. Pointkiand a waste of money.

Very flimsy
Returned. Item had clearly been used and was broken. I would have returned it in any event as it’s very flimsy. The on switch and battery compartment cover looked like they would snap at any moment. The battery compartment had discolouration on the plastic. It also had a mains outlet but no lead.You get what you pay for I suppose.

Beats sewing by hand any day
Very handy little thing but won’t sew anything too thick, otherwise quite good.

Does not work on Denim
It isn’t as strong as advertised. It cannot do two layers of Denim with thick cotton. It cannot go through Velcro.
