Good sharp points with regular steady but soft pressure. No self stop, however.
This is a really good electric sharpener. It makes a nice sharp point. I don't have many pencils that are broken inside, so it seems to work evenly on the hex, round of several widths and the triangular ones that I have. I do not have any of the LYRA Giants that I would like to try, but don't think it is large enough for them. One thing to watch out for is you need to stop the pencil yourself, it does not self-stop when pointed.
