Saw runs good
Worked good it does need a spacer behind it to make it line up properly.

It works
The barrel connector on the kill line (the "floating" primary winding connection) didn't fit into the connector on the kill switch, so I removed the connector from the old line, and soldered it on. . .Also my old Poulan Pro 4218 was a little too old, and the ignition coil had been obsoleted in the newer models, so I had to remove the connector (to the kill switch) on the ground side wire, and solder it to the new ground wire.For me, not a problem. The old style ignition coil was a half assed design, isn't available any more, and expensive to make, and purchase, so modifying the wiring for the new design would have been necessary regardless. . .All and all, a pretty good purchase, although, I'd probably buy the cheaper version without all the extras, now that I have the wiring modified. . .

Fits with modifications
I would have to modify one of the wires with a new connector to make it work. Thankfully I had an oem from eBay . This is not an exact match for pp4218AVX
