This is my second dash cam with the first being an e-prance d101 which lasted 5 years before the memory card slot stopped detecting sd cards. This one feels well built and looks more sleek than my first and easier to use with the touch screen. My prior one did not come with a rear camera but now that I have it I cannot go back to just a front camera. The install was easy but I could see how it could be more difficult if you are installing the rear camera on a nicer car since you may need to make modifications to mount it on the outside. Since I drive a beater, I am not worried about wedging the cable into gaps and drilling a hole in the trunk. There is the option to stick it on the inside but you will get glare and reflection. The one minor thing I dislike is the sound it makes when clicking through the different options on the screen. It is the same sound as if you are dialing a number on your phone.

I own two and one of them has lasted for years. We have had zero issues and when my wife was in an accident, she was able download the video instantly.

The media could not be loaded. It constantly goes to an all white screen for no reason. I turned it off.Turn it back on nothing , helps. I own two of these and my other one has done it a few times. But this one? It's bs. It doesn't work more times than it works..pictures included. Nothing is obstructing view. It's 2 days old. And one second it works the next white screen. And it's even recording that way. Waste of money and wouldn't trust it to capture incidents given the issues. When it does work the quality is fantastic.

I plugged the units lighter adapter into the lighter and it worked fine.. for five minutes, then the screen turned White.After much time, it was found that if you push the lighter in all-the-way, it activates the lighter and of course, the connection gets too hot.To work, the lighter connection cannot be pushed fully in.. it must just make enough contact to power the cam. Since the lighter works when the key is off.. one needs to literally unplug the cam each time you shut the vehicle off.I personally think Only having this type of connection is bad marketing. This, and only being able to adjust the cam- forward and back, but not swivel side to side produces a cock-eyed screen and causes me to only give 3 stars.

Good product, however I thought the user manual could have been more detailed.

purchased two of these dashcams w/sd cards for seperate cars but both sd cards are saying unable to format and will not record. this is very disappointing because i specifically purchased the bundle that included memory cards but now i have to go out and spend even more money to get memory cards that will work.

Nice item, but the adhesive sucks. I constantly found it dangling by the power cord after falling off the windshield every time I'd leave it parked.
