Koevulfix Rekord is a professional low viscosity contact adhesive which bonds many materials such as leather, EVA, rubber, metal, wood, plastics, PVC, foils, TR, foam, cork etc. For leatherette, faux leather please use Koeraplast SF. Application examples: shoe soles, PU-foam panels, carpets, door or window gaskets, rainwear etc. Base: Polychloroprene, solvent Colour: amber Density: 0,83 g/cm³ Viscosity: 1600 mPas Drying time: 10–90 min (If drying time for cold contact is exceeded activate at +50°C) Processing temperature: Do not process adhesive and materials to be bonded below +18°C. Undercooled adhesive should be warmed up (not with open flame) and stirred well before use. Preparation: Rough leather, EVA, rubber and lasting margins. Clean TPR and Crepe with Körasolv CA. The surfaces must be dry, free of dust and grease. Bonding: Apply Kövulfix Rekord on both surfaces to be bonded. Coat absorbent materials two times. After a drying time of approx. 10 minutes place the materials together by cold contact or by activating one side at +50°C to +60°C and press. The pressure to be applied depends on the hardness of the sole material. The usual pressing time is 8–15 seconds.
