Christmas Concepts® 40 Multi Colour Pinecone Lights with Twinkling Effect - Christmas Lights

I purchased these lights as they reminded me of the lights i had as a child. They are very pretty and give a similar look. However, they do not twinkle. I was expecting them to have an all over twinkle but only 6 bulbs out of the 40 have movement. They actually very slowly change colour, which is very subtle and a nice effect. You also have to wait a couple of minutes before this action starts. There is no on/off choice, you just plug in and that's it. There is nothing in the instructions to explain this. There is also a two pin adapter plug supplied, wish also isn't mentioned, as far as i could see. Lovely lights, even though they were not exactly what i wanted, but i still like them. I will buy another set as i would like more lights.

Great set of lights. Saved my Christmas when my old faithful lights finally gave up the ghost. Very sparkly and while most bulbs are set to constant glow, the "white" ones slowly change colour, through all the colours of the rainbow. It's subtle as there are only about 5 white bulbs dotted around the set of 40 but it makes me smile when I notice one of them changing.

These are the nearest I could find to the lights that I grew up with in the late 70's and 80's (similar to the lights on the tree in The Snowman.) The lanterns aren't as large, but that seems to be the only real difference. These are LED, so energy efficient. One in every four slowly changes colour. They look great, and are worth the money (under £20)

So much nicer than the modern fashion for tiny lights. Hope the bulbs last as they're not replaceable.

These are pretty lights. They were described as for indoor and outdoor use. The instructions on unwrapping clearly state 'for indoor use only'

Very pleased with these lights. Our old ones packed up and we grabbed these at short notice for Christmas. We thought they were static lights and were very pleased to discover that some of the lights changed colour. Long lead to reach to plug.

I bought some horrible white fairy lights last year which hurt my eyes. These are bright beautiful colours . Red, green, blue lilac, yellow, red, ice blue. What I am so excited about is the size! I have a terrible wilko Christmas tree but its fine when you glitz it up. These are a perfect size for a small tree.I have so far wound on thick gold tinsel and it's looking very pretty.
