I had been looking for an all in one game console for a while. When I was a child I like to play all the 2D games like Mario, street fighter, harvest moon and more. Finally I got this and it brings back all my childhood memory to me and my family too. The console can connect to the tv for a bigger screen to play together with you family. This is a rare find gem, and I feel over the moon !

So I bought this because I work and have to wait in areas of Wyoming and Utah where there is no cellular service. So I have been pre downloading YT videos and it is getting kinda old. I didn’t want to take my switch because I thought it would be too rough on it. So I bought this. The stated information is probably right. I haven’t used it enough to verify the battery lifetime but it works so far as stated. This Game boy doesn’t have all the big games you would expect like Mario, or donkey Kong but it has a lot. I have been playing the Pokémon games and the legend of Zelda games as well. My only issue with the game boy is that it doesn’t have Bluetooth so I did have to buy some wired earbuds to use it when others are around. The other notable games it has are Contra, wario, Metroid, Kirby, metal gear, Dragon Ball, Spider-Man ps-1, mortal combat, legend of Zelda, Star fox, sonic, final fantasy, Mega-Man, and Castlevania. I added up all the games and it is correct at 6811 games. Pretty good deal for 58 dollars.

The device itself is nice but there are games that simply won’t work. Which was very disappointing for me because the whole reason I ordered it was to play old gba dragon ball games but they won’t let you play for long before shutting down and you can’t go any further than maybe 8 minutes into the game.

Right out of the box it’s not working and won’t even hold a charge. Just a waste of time and energy.

had it for less than 2 months and it came with a lot of fun games, especially the Pokémon options, but after 6 weeks the screen started to have issues and at 7 weeks it no longer turned on.

Absolutely thrilled with my new handheld game console! The throwback design reminds me the gameboy I owned as a child. The wide range of game has brought back many nostalgic moments. The screen quality is beyond my expectation too. The console comes with everything I need, including case, screen protector, and an addition 64g SD card!

AFAIK, this is no longer in production, and I want to point out that I have the "Plus" (not the 2024) version and it is fantastic. I didn't return the first OG unit I got because I wanted to tinker with it and see if I could fix it, and when I couldn't I bought a second one that works well. I'd give it 4 stars except for the QC issue on the first unit, and I want to be clear: I did NOT try to return it, so I have no issue with customer service positive or negative. I have a number of Anbernic devices, and all the rest are excellent in feel with decent quality in hardware terms, and improving software that was flaky when this unit was new.I was going to give this model away but decided to give a slightly lesser unit I will not name here (could be 36ish in nature:). That says something. I would not, however, buy another one, because I'd go for a more recent Anbernic unit.

It is my first retro handheld device but it came with a good selection of games and the UI is pretty good. Battery life is good with a huge selection of games with no doubles that I found, there was only a few games that I like that were not included . I have no complaints.
