Works great on my 2 yard trash can.
I purchase this for my trash can, 2 yard. This way I can keep the lock on and my trash service has the combination. The arm on the lock is longer than most locks so it has a large clearance. REALLY EASY to set and change if necessary. The price was in the middle of lock pricing. Less expensive than you know who. I will be observing how it holds up over time. I wish they offered a two pack when I was purchasing. It's nice to have a backup or have in your inventory for whatever you might have in the future.

Needs lube.
Nice enough lock, got bound up quick after hanging on a rainy fence for a few weeks. Cheap POS…I was thinking.So I shot it full of WD-40 and worked it a bit to loosen up, then hosed in some motorcycle chain & cable lube. Wiped off all the excess and now it works better than new.

Great lock
I have this lock on my outdoor shed. It replaced one that did not work as well because the cap on the bottom would end up with water in it. This lock I have had no problem with that. I haven’t opened it up yet this year, but last year it opened with no problem. The winter weather did not affect it. I would recommend this lock if you need something for outside.

Lasted under 90 days
Lock worked for approximately 3 months in mild weather. Was used as more of a visual deterrent than anything. Even so, the durability was lacking and ceased to function altogether within 90 days of purchase. Although the lock was on the cheaper side, I thought it would at least make it through the calendar year. You are better off using the money you'd spend on this and adding it towards a better product. The lock eventually would no longer secure, even after resetting, or trying to, the code.
