Very important to know..... that this isn’t difficult at all even for our 5 year old boy!
Please.... disregard anything written about it being “difficult”, it really doesn’t need a rocket scientist.... just a few ounces of common sense is all.My 6 year old boy and I have just flown through making this, in fact we had so much enjoyment from it that we’ve bought a number of expansion packs AND another one of these sets.Historically children as young as 4 have been building Fischer technik since the 50’s in schools all over Europe. Ask half of the design engineers who now work for and run the Volkswagen audi group... they all worked on FT as kids and students. This set teaches designs and processes all day long, and is both fun and inspiring for kids and adults alike.I was a fischerTechnik AND LegoTechnic kid.... but even from the early 80’s..... my robots were in FT.

Too hard to be much fun
There were too many very small pieces in this design which were difficult to identify and could too easily be confused with each other. My grandson is confident building LEGO up to 16 year level but both he and I struggled so much with this that it ceased to be much fun.
