Beautifully Crafted, Realistic Trains !
Our son is now six, and has been a train nut almost since birth. The wooden train sets are great and make for hours of entertainment. We own many trains across all the brands, and have enough track to make layouts across two rooms. At some point, our son turned into a realism kind of kid, and stopped using his trains with the goofy faces on them , and started to only play with the wooden trains that looked like the real life trains we see going through town or on his favorite youtube videos. Enter the Whittle Shortline Railroad. Sure, they might seem expensive up front when compared to the stuff made overseas, but when you see the quality of these in person, you will realize they are a good value in the long run. We have some freight cars that have a couple years worth of play time on them , and the paint and decals still look great on them. The Whittle trains are compatible with all of our different brands of trains. I am certain we wilk be buying more trains from Whittle Shortline Railroad soon, as I don't see our sons fascination fading any time soon !
