Works if your patient
I found that you can slide the tool into the 'plug well' when the "expander" mechanism is not activated; however, I also found that you will need to engage the mechanism only slightly the first time you try to back it out - if you try to engage the "expander" mechanism entirely the first time, it is almost impossible. Other than that, it did re-thread my spark plug well - THOUGH it did create quite a bit of aluminum scraps, some of which went into the engine, even when oil was used in conjunction with the tool - seems unavoidable, but aluminum is softer than steel, so hopefully it won't do TOO much damage.

Great tool but missing parts
Got my tool but it was missing one important part to use it. It is replacing a broken one so the part was transferable but still. Wth??
