Alpine X-W12D4 X-Series 12" subwoofer with Dual 4-ohm Voice coils ID

If you want something that will back the bolts out of your car but sound clean when the volume is set to 11, this is the sub for you. I got mine for $150 off retail and I can say I will never buy another sub as long as this one survives. I decided to get this sub after purchasing and alpine amp that I was very impressed with. I’m pushing 800 watts to it in a 1.85 cubic foot ported enclosure tuned to 36 hz. I’m genuinely worried it’s gonna rip my car about. Even turned up to the point the glass is waving it still sounds clean as a whistle. I’ve never paid more than $150 for a sub and I wish I could save all the money spent on entry level equipment and just started with this. Alpine, you’re the best.

Alpine type x is where the boys who swear by the type r's are sepparated from the bass head men. Hits notes my 15"s never could. Mean bass when you feed it power. Custom vented box @ 32hz lets these puppys pump some air. One i have been abusing for years and the other is fairly new but together they turn heads and make non bass heads shake their fists. Easily handling 1900rms on my t1500bdcp. Worth every penny!

I bought this a few months ago to go louder, but i kept my old ALPINE 500Watt amp (which is grossly underpowered for this sub) and it wreaks of burnt plastic. I can’t play it without it stinking up my car to the point that it smells like electrical fire. I’m aware that new subs burn off glues from the factory but this is beyond that. I know that smell, and this is burning electronics. I hooked my old alpine sun back up and it works flawlessly… idk if it’s the seller or the sub… it’s trash though and I’m assuming I’m just out the 350.00 on this busted ass sub… thanks..

I finally get a custom box made, and install and the sub is burnt! First play and it burnt. With a alpine 750 amp! This seller is the worst. I know alpine is a good brand, just seller has DEFECTIVE SUB!!!!!!!

Great sub in a .75 cu/ft sealed enclosure. Keep the power up and my goodness is this solid and loud as all get out! 💩💯🤙🎸 Good range hertz, alpine is getting what you put into it.

I thought Alpine X 12 inch has a max power of 1,800 watts and a RMS of 900. However this is quoted as a 12 inch of a max power of 450. I'm wondering if the quote is wrong. 🤔
