Perfect for What I Need
The media could not be loaded. Exactly what I need for high-value training reward. Just enough resistance to keep the nut butter from spilling out all over, but not too much resistance making it hard to squeeze. It would be perfect for commercial or homemade protein gels or pastes. With it closed I squeezed it with an average amount of pressure. Lid didn't leak, and the snap cap stayed closed. I'll be storing it in a hard container to keep my dog from going after it, but I suspect it isn't necessary when packing it up for a race or hiking.

Too small for me
If I had to repurchase this, I would get the next larger size. I bought this for my wife and she seems to like it a lot because of the size. Not enough water for me if we were to go on a 2 hour walk/hike. Quality is decent

Great customer service!
Hydrapak customer service is exceptional!!! Be aware the smaller bottle is designed for nut butters and gels therefore does not have the mechanism to keep fluid in unless squeezed. I called, they clarified, we resolved the issue! I talked to a real person who spoke English and was friendly and helpful.

Cool bottle for dancing at concerts
I get thirsty when I’m dancing. I fill this with water, and I’m able to shove it in my Lululemon belt bag. So far, it’s been really sturdy, and I’ve had no leaks. I look absolutely silly with this on the dance floor, but I don’t care because I’m not trying to dance with a can of water in my hand all night. I like how it shrinks as I drink it. Also, like that it’s super compact when it’s empty, which is how I bring it into venues. I would like it to keep my water colder for longer, but you can’t have everything. 5 stars for quenching my thirst on the dance floor.

Chemical taste
Does the chemical smell and taste go away?

Not for cycling.
I thought I'd try this for holding gels while cycling. Nice idea, but if turned out to be a messy hassle. Easy enough to stuff them in my jersey, after all. Live and learn. Might be good for runners, etc?
