good replacement for cable
I Purchased this to use with Microsoft flight simulator, running on a dell gaming laptop connected to a Sony 65 inch TV. The device installed seamlessly, and I can tell no difference between. It and the cable it replaced. The distance between the laptop and the TV is about 8 feet.

Easy setup works great
Needed to reposition our security monitor and cabling would have been a pain. This works perfectly

Would never connect or display anything
I connected this to my computer monitor and to a TV and never got anything to display, not even the default instructions that are supposed to display. I never got it to connect at all between the transmitter and the receiver. I tried resetting it with no different results. I returned it thinking that maybe it was just one defective unit and purchased another. Results were identical. Not worth the time.

Simple to set up
I'm using this to transmit the HDMI output from our security NVR to the TV in the main room where everyone usually hangs out. Makes it easy to check what's going on just by changing inputs on the TV for a minute. Set up is pretty easy. You basically plug the transmitter piece into the HDMI outlet you want to view in another room and then plug the receiver into an available HDMI port on the TV or other device you want to do it on.Picture quality looks good and we haven't experienced any issues with this so far after 4 months or so. The transmitter is located in a closet about 3 rooms away from the TV if that helps you with an idea of range.

works well in most situations
this system works fairly well for presentations or even video playback. It does not work well for gaming, but that is clear in the description. I tried connecting my ps5, but there was just way too much lag to make it playable. If you want to use it for basic desktop computer use, presentations, or even video playback, it works pretty well.

Does the job with issues
First it does the job and it works I tried with my laptop and hooked the receiver to my Sony Oled TV and it did the trick but there was a significant delay between the transmitter and receiver. The real problem when I tried to cast from my iPhone the AirPlay option was horrible. The screen was stretched super wide can’t even see the details and in portrait mode was too square ish. Overall it will do the job but it’s not so great if you’re looking for a real-time or even near real-time experience and definitely not to use with iPhones. I tried to play with the settings but still no fix for lag or AirPlay

Impressive resource for video.
Wow, this device is a great step in technology that saves having that clunky hdmi cable stretched out. It has conveniently enhanced my PC to TV experience with no lag that is inconvenient. It is a great option to share video, photos or other content.

Only streams landcape on iPhone
The main purpose was to be able to stream from the phone but only works with the phone on the side. It requires your phone to be on the same wi-fi as the router so not ideal unless videos are downloaded in advance. Netflix audio didn't come through but did work for other video sites. Works fine for connecting the computer, though needs to have an HDMI adapter connector available. Probably best suited for an office environment where guests can just easily use the dongle and connect to a screen.
