Nice cage
Ut is easy to out together but ine if the holes was nit bug enough for the screw to go into it so we had to make some adjustments. It's a nice cage and our ferret seems to like it.

GOOD QUALITY
I HAVE HAD FERRETS FOR THE PAST 16 YEARS SO I DECIDED TO PURCHASE THEM A SMALL CAGE FOR THEIR SMALL ROOM. WHEN THE FERRET CAGE ARRIVED I PUT IT TOGETHER. THE QUALITY WAS EXCELLENT AND THE CASE WAS VERY STURDY AND MY FERRETS LOVED IT. IT IS A VERY GOOD CAGE FOR MY TWO FERRETS.

Very good cage for the price!!
We bought this for our 2 squirrels. My 15 year old son and I assembled it (since my husband was at work) and it was super easy!!! The wheels were hard to push in, but otherwise everything else was easy! There was a bar broken but the box was damaged so I'm assuming it was smashed in shipping π₯Ί we took some wire and wired it up. The tray slides out easy, the cage itself is sturdy enough, I didn't use the drinking bottle it came with because I had already bought a good one but it's nice to have as a spare. Very happy with it so far! Hoping it works well for years to come. Would definitely recommend for squirrels! Also, our squirrels are about 11 weeks old π so they aren't really big and the spacing between bars is perfect for small critters!

Great habitat for small friends
This was very easy to assemble, and is roomy for small animals. It is fairly sturdy, no disappointments there, also very easy to clean. Good habitat for a great price!

Plastic not good for chinchilla but can make fleece covers
Like the design and flexibility to move this cage since it is on wheels. New to chinchilla's we quickly learned plastic is a big NO NO. Bought some non pulling fleece and made covers for all the plastic pieces. It was an easy fix.

If this is your question, I have an answer. This cage was bought for three female rats and it arrived on December 29th, 2017. The instructions are a bit ambiguous and it may require a bit of you just improvising, but once you get a grip it's pretty easy. My chinchilla wheel fit just right, but the handle for the water bottle was broken. It was a bit rusty, which set me off a bit... but it's much better than other cages we've had. The plastic tray on the bottom is NOT enough for the rats on its own, but I'm going to apply some fleece at the bottom. The rats really enjoy it, and its pretty easy to move around. We were thinking of adding some chicken wire, but as you can see they're okay for now. The bottle is not enough in my opinion, but the dish is fabulous for food. They have been running around and playing all day.For the money, it was a great buy. And as far as cages go, it gave my ratties a lot of space many cages do not have. I'd recommend this cage for rat owners whose rats are at their full size, any smaller would be a bad idea.As someone with other small animals, I can say off the bat that this wouldn't work for guinea pigs, hamsters (even with chicken wire), mice, small squirrels, small sugar gliders, or any reptiles. This is also not suitable for birds, since the bar spacing is wider than most bird cages should be (snapped necks could be an issue), and the space for them to climb is limited. Unless you chicken wire it, this is absolutely not suitable for any bird... and even with wire cage, don't home anything larger than a budgie/small parakeet due to the beak strength if you do chose to wire it up.I have worked for a pet store, and I have my own critters, so I'm quite familiar with animal enclosures.

Rats need a large cage and this one is great and inexpensive
This cage is perfect for my two pet rats. It's not that much more money than a tiny cage but it improved my rat babies life exponentially. The bottom is made with bars that I was worried about for my smallest rat so I put a piece of food grade bpa free shelf liner across the bottom and periodically flip it over/ replace it when it gets dirty. My bigger rats actually stayed in it during a vacation and it didn't need the shelf liner, I just put a bunch of blankets to make it more comfortable. It is important to keep it clean with spot cleaning because you don't want you pet running through their messes but it's super easy to have a few baby wipes on hand to get the little droppings. It is perfect for my two rats but 3 can fit just fine. If they like burrowing in bedding, you can put a little box of bedding in it on the bottom floor but there is no tray for bedding. I've put it together and pulled it apart multiple times and it's still in good shape.
