The EV Extras Portable Charger is a waterproof, versatile and robust EV Charger for use with EV's and Plug in Hybrid Vehicles. It is very simple to use, plug into a normal domestic UK 3 pin socket socket and you are good to charge. The charger automatically switches off when the vehicle battery is full and can be left outside all year round (IP65 waterproof rating). If your daily mileage is less than 85 miles this charger is perfect for your electric vehicle. The charging rate translates to approximately 7 to 10 miles of range added per hour of charge which adds 85 to 100 miles of range to any electric vehicle or plug in hybrid vehicle when placed on a 12 hour overnight charge. Charging status is shown via an easy to understand colour light sequence. The EV Extra's portable charger is rated at 10 Amp (UK law to protect domestic circuits against overload and fire risk) and delivers 2.3kW of charge.
