DynaTrapDT152 Indoor Insect Trap and Killer – Catches and Kills Fruit Flies, Gnats, Moths, Mosquitoes & Other Flying Insects

We have a real problem with "ankle biter" mosquitos in several rooms of our house. We've tried all kinds of other traps and repellants. The ones that tout their blue or ultraviolet light do not work - as mosquitos are attracted to CO2 (the exhilation of oxygen-breathing beings), not UV which does work with other insects. Within a day of use, I found several ankle-biters already trapped inside. So I bought another unit, and it has worked equally well. There is a mild humming sound from the fan inside the unit, but it's rather quiet and easy to ignore. We leave the units on 24-7 but check the adhesive traps inside from time to time. For the price, we're extremely satisfied that we have found the first effective solution to our mosquito problem. Thumbs up!

Helpful for indoor vectors such as moths, mosquitos, and gnats.I was tired of having to use my flyswatter repeatedly when summertime comes around. As such I started using this indoor bug killer for the following benefits:Easy to clean, the bottom threads off, and I can empty the dead bugs directly into the trashEasy to use, I was able to buy mosquito attractant, and in combination with the glue pad, I am able to capture those dreaded bugs.Relatively quiet, it doesn't make much noise and the small light on top that attracts with its UV isn't horribly annoying.I'm happy to have this, it works well, and I have had no complaints with it. I have added it as a subscription and plan to put another one in my home to have better coverage.

This is out in my garage which seems to have a sudden influx of these fungi gnats with all the rain etc. Photo was after 24 hours of being turned on.I've used katchy's before and wanted a smaller version of that and came across these. I do like that it has a fine mesh to prevent bugs from getting back out who don't hit the glue right away. Fan doesn't seem that powerful and likely why it won't catch larger flying insects even though I found a house fly in mine. Overall well built for what it is and no complaints on function. The glue pads I don't care for at all. Do they work? Yes. However, they waste a lot of potential trapping area with just 6 small squares in the middle. Get something else or grab those 8x11 yellow gnat sticky traps and cut them into a circle (best part is those are double sided so just flip over and peel the plastic) or even grab ones like katchy has.So if you are looking for something like this but on the fence because it's half the cost of a katchy just grab it. Also get some better glue pads because you won't want to use this style after finished the single one it came with.

Ok so I just ordered this & it came in yesterday. I was excited to use it because I have another Dynatrap product that plugs into the wall & that one has worked great for me, especially during bug season. So I was very optimistic! When I placed the order, knowing from my other Dynatrap product, it would be cheaper if I bought a 3rd party sticky pad (& I am so glad I did in hindsight!) Because when I opened the box, I instantly thought to myself when seeing the one sticky pad provided, that the sticky part was only a tiny area of the pad itself, & I didn't believe it would do a great job, & I was right! I also noticed that it works best at night when the only light that is on is the blue UV light, because it does not work at all with a lot of light around. Ok so let me get to my 1 star review! I knew it would work best at night, so when I woke up I went to check the kitchen area if there was any gnats flying around, & I didn't see any! So I was like the trap must have worked! But when I went to open the trap to see all of them stuck on the pad, THEY ALL FLEW OUT! The pad itself only had about 2-3 gnats! They were all alive & well & couldn't get out because the fan kept them in & the mesh cover! But I am more hopeful it will work better when I get the replacement sticky pads! I will update this review after but in the meantime it will absolutely receive 1 star from me. I hope this helps someone.

I was skeptical before buying. And I looked it quite a few different ones. I bought this one and one that plugs into the wall, not zevo. I'm very happy with my purchase. This is quality. So easy to use. I just use my duster when I changed the disc. It only comes with one disc, though. So I purchased the refill pack that another person listed in their review. I bought the small one because I thought it was a miniature of the large one. This is just a fan with a light on top that has fly paper inside. It may catch flies, but it attracts everything because the light is so bright. Some really loud bug has been trapped in there for a week and I’m waiting for it to die before I open it. Save yourself the headache and just get the large zapper.

I have the Katchy which I've had for years and it's effective but recently, I tried one of these and it's significantly more effective. So I'm actually today can I add two more because I have these aphids trying to attack my hydroponic gardens. So I put one of these right in the middle of it, and it ends up completely not only filled with aphids, but they're also all over the top of the unit so this is amazing I love the product and can recommend it without any reservations.

This contraption far exceeded my expectations. I originally purchased this item when my baby was being discharged from the NICU because we had an untimely infestation of flies and mosquitos and I didn’t want my newborn to suffer. Believe the hype! I change the sticky pad every 2-3 weeks and it’s completely saturated with insects each and every time! This machine is a fruit fly’s worst enemy but it also clears the room of mosquitoes, house flies, knats, moths, and even flying ants! This bad boy is small and compact, durable, quiet, affordable, and the purple UV light makes for a neat night light. No more mosquito bites… a win is a win!
