PXGWedge or Wedge Set - Sand, Lob, and Gap Wedges with Regular, Stiff, X-Stiff, Senior, and Ladies Flex Shafts

Wedges are some of the most important clubs in my bag. I keep a small wedge arsenal on hand for different tracks I’m playing. Vokey, Cleveland, and Callaway have been my go to scoring clubs for years. A buddy started gaming the PXG wedges in 50, 60, and 54 degree. I spent a couple mornings hitting them while getting loose before our rounds. I liked them. No, I actually loved them. The balance excellent. With their full face grove cuts, it was a unique look to my eye. But it made sense on why PXG did it, especially on the 60 degree. They are forged wedges, which gives them a softer feel. Spin and ease of hitting them was right in the mix with Vokey and Callaway Jaws. Added benefit is their clean look and ease of wiping out the dirt and sand. They are solidly in my rotation.

Being relatively new to golf, it’s hard to know what will work for you. While I appreciate everyone’s tips, you don’t know which to take and which to leave behind. And buying clubs can be an expensive mistake if you use it and try to return because it’s NOT the right one for you.That being said, this PXG club works with my novice swing and for the most part gets the ball to where it needs to be. Would definitely recommend this as a SW. Also received good info regarding degree and bounce of these clubs. Going to get fitted with PXG and purchase more clubs. These have a great look and feel to them.

Added to my PXG iron set replacing a worn out sand wedge whose grooves were worn . Hits perfectly .

I ordered the 56 degree sand wedge and it has helped my game tremendously from 50 yards in. I have struggled with shots inside of 50 yards for the past 8 to 10 years often hitting fat or thin shots and have tried many other brands of wedges to no avail. After getting this wedge I am not having those problems. I am no longer in fear of my ball ending up inside of 50 yards since I have finally got my confidence back.

Easy to hit the got more yardage than expected

Good feel, ball seems to grab and check very well! Con. I personally don’t prefer the standard grips. But they are good quality.

Great setup, head is heavy compared to my other 50 deg wedge, but the when you compress the ball is feels better than any other wedge I have hit.Test it on the driving range before you play, I averaged 10 to 15 yards longer on a full swing , about 5 yards on a pitch.Absolutely love this club!
