I'll be honest, despite the great reviews and for the cost, I really wasn't expecting too much.From the first use, on a recently shampooed carpet, this little wonder pulled unseen muck that you'd never know was there by eye. The aim was to improve the pile and colour on heavily walked on areas. It did not disappoint! The carpet looks as new.The cleaner is easy to fill/empty/clean and has a good stretch of hose and power cord.Everything stores away neatly and the instructions are easy to understand. The added bonus of a decent sized shampoo is included and this goes a VERY long way.I can't recommend this machine highly enough.Previous expensive upright shampooer did not remove as much as this!I've also ordered the same brand bagless upright vacuum as my existing (again brand leading powerhouse) is getting elderly. I hope its as good as this little cleaner!If you have pets this spot cleaner is a must!

I bought the Vacmaster spot cleaner after previously owning a spot cleaner from one of the major well known brands? The main reason was simply down to a better design. The previous machine used a transparent hose that was very rigid and far too short, making it cumbersome and very awkward to use, and due to its inflexibility, eventually split, rendering the cleaner scrap. The hose is available as a spare part, but it's not replaceable without dismantling the whole machine. The Vacmaster on the other hand uses a vacuum hose that is longer, far more flexible, and of a superior quality and design, which should be more durable and easier to operate, especially when working in confined spaces, like inside a car.The other plus point is, it is almost twice as powerful as the previous clearer, with far greater suction, leaving areas that have been cleaned, far cleaner and dryer, with less liquid left behind, allowing for much quicker drying. All in all a great product that is highly recommended.

I used to use a Rug Doctor machine at work , but they cost around 250 quid and you get through £10 bottles of liquid so fast you can almost feel the money draining from your pickets.This machine is great value for money. It works really well, at least judging by the amount of muck coming out of a relatively clean looking rug in my living room.It is supplied with two heads. I believe one is for deeper pile but I'd have to refer back to the instructions to be sure. I've only used the smaller attachment to clean the main thoroughfare on the rug. The attachment has a spray trigger for ease of use so i work in squares , spraying the rug and then going back over it with just suction. I was surprised to see that they include cleaning solution in the box and it works just as well as some 'industrial' cleaner I bought from Wickes. The cleaning solution goes quite a long way, certainly compared to Rug Doctor etcThe only thing that might put some people off is that this is a 'on your knees' job, but I suffer with horrible back pain and I manage it. Anyway, you don't have to do an entire floor in one go if you're not up to it , plus it leaves the newly clean areas nice and dry if you leave it for a bit so you can kneel on nice, dry carpet etc.Does a great job, and at a fraction of the price of other manufacturers. Eg I had a very expensive Vax and it was absolutely useless.

Arrived today and I was eager to try it out. I had to screw on the side hook for hose which hopefully won't break off but only one screw holding it on.. two compartments. One for clean water and other collects dirty water. Easy to fill up with hot tap water and added a capful of carpet shampoo. Easy to use. Press button and water spray went on carpet. The attachment works well with no effort.. Hate to admit but the water collected from my hall rug was very dirty. Very impressed. Will use again tomorrow.UPDATE.after 2 uses I found it frustrating that the clean water compartment lid does not come off. I would have liked to have dried it rinsed it after use and left the fill hole open to help it dry out and after a few weeks just found that I have scum like markings inside that i have tried to remove with a long handle bottle brush but wont budge. Looks dreadful so have tried to remove the lid only to find it's tank is sealed. Why on earth does it not have same release lid as the dirty water container. Lovely Amazon lady on phone is contacting manufacturer. I have now been in touch with manufacturer and they are sending out a replacement container.Excellent help from both amazon and Vac

I had an upright carpet cleaner which was cheap but worked well, but it would take me really long to clean after use, with some parts unmovable and therefore trapping debris.I gave it away and bought another upright which is easy to clean. And love it.However, the stairs are a pain to do with a big appliance, and one of my dogs has a bladder issue where she sometimes pees on thing. Picture of the peepee dog here.She peed on a new super shaggy rug.This spot cleaner cleaned it in 10 minutes! And it sucked up the excess water very easily (needs manual pressure but they all do).And it was another 5 min to clean.I think I'll use it a lot.Pictures:The hose attachment separates so you can clean it properly (the one of the upright doesn't and wet fluff tends to stick in there forever)The dirty water tank opens completely. I emptied it, sloshed a bit of clean water around, done! You can see how clean it is and how thw fluff and debris are in the sink.The plug has a little groove to clip on.There was a little water left on the appliance, but I picked it up easily with some toilet paper.I am really happy I bought this appliance, after I had researched so much.Hope you will enjoy it too!

Bought this ages ago and used for the first time . Can’t believe how much crud it’s taken out of my small carpetWish the trigger and suction buttons were reversed for easier use but with all the attachments and long power lead it’s dead easy to set up and use
