This device is laughable in many senses.It is durable, light, well built and looks like a goode device.The pads are quite sensitive and it's a joy to use as a small drum machine or piano.Having said that, the manufacturer promises a lot more.I bought it to control my DAW, launch clips, use the transport bar, start/stop/pause music, remote record, pretty standard stuff.Unfortunately, the device will not do all that.The included scripts won't work, the firmware won't update, the manual won't really explain, the support team will treat you like you're daft and pretend it works.I've owned a lot of kit and I'm not considered a novice.Still, I'm convinced the only person who can properly operate this device is the one who built it

As mentioned in other reviews, it has an inherent fault where random notes trigger when the toggle is engaged rendering it essentially useless, which is a shame as on paper it was exactly what I wanted and there is not a obvious comparison for size and price point. I am pretty sure that the people that are happy have just not discovered this massive flaw yet.

Using this with Reaper as a midi controller. Fantastic kit with a very competitive price. This board is so tactile that it begs to be played; it's immediate and hassle free interface with my DAW has augmented my workflow massively. The creative parameters like TILT and PRESSURE can be turned on or off more greater tweakability, and the bundled software to edit parameters is beautifully basic and simple to implement. To be critical, the BEND key could use some work (it tends to be unresponsive, and often jumps to max value before then bending the note) which is something to be considered if you are banking on that for predictable swoop effects. Also, the octave buttons could get moved to the top left corner of the board, away from the playing keys. I have more than once changed octave mid performance. Minor gripes however. This thing should be eating up the market - surprised more folk aren't aware of it.

Due to it's inconsistent velocity across several of the keys I couldn't give it 5 stars. The only way I could get a better response was to raise the minimum velocity and then this issue was a lot less obvious. Quite expressive tilting and aftertouch but takes a bit of practice to get gentle changes. Works great with AAS Chromaphone 2 when aftertouch and tilt are mapped to noise and Mallet stiffness.

First unit arrived and immediately had issues with sending random MIDI notes that hadn't been pressed. Pitch bend and tilt did not respond properly (jumped all over the place rather than one smooth motion). Second unit that was sent out as a replacement exhibited the exact same issues. Firmware reset didn't fix either units, and happened on all hosts (iPad, Android and Windows PC).Other reviews stated the same issues, however I assumed it would be a one-off thing. Obviously not, there seems to be an entire batch of these with issues.

A simple, elegantly designed plug and play keyboard from the most innovative controller makers around - featuring pressure sensitive polyphonic aftertouch. QuNexus is not like just a portable keyboard with mini keys that feel awkward for a keyboard player, this keyboard introduces tilt, velocity and polyphonic pitch bends - new modes of expression. I use with Mac OSX and iOS but it works across all platforms without special drivers.

This is pretty neat. It can function as a keyboard or MIDI-launcher, takes up very little space, and just plugs'n'plays.

So I bought this with the idea of getting a very sensitive keyboard that was compact and could easily be transported. This met a lot of my needs being - light, durable, cost effective.However, for an expensive piece of equipment I was surprised to find out that the keyboard was defective- the pressure and velocity features were unresponsive.to Make matters worse- this keyboard shipped from Germany and was a nightmare returning.
