To be quite frank I honestly think this is one of the best board games you can buy. If you have enough willing victims to form two or more teams then you're good to go. For those of you who've never played cranium before the game consists of each team completing one of four different types of challenge. These are:Star Performer - a member of your team may have to demonstrate whistling skills, play charades or be used as a 'puppet' by a fellow team member.Data Head - You are asked a open question, a multiple choice question, or a true / false questionWord Worm - Your team will have to solve an anagram, spell words backwards or define the meaning of wordsCreative Cat - A team member will have to draw out an answer with their eyes open or closed and sculpt something with playdough. This is my favourite category as you get a chance to flex your creative muscles.Occasionally there are rounds where all teams must take part and compete to get the answer right first.This board can be folded out into three different sizes, small, medium or large, depending on the length of time you want to play for. The rules of this game are really simple and will be picked up incredibly quickly, it keeps people thinking and people genuinely enjoy it. There are a few less arguments than monopoly but like any good board game some disputes will arise over whether your opponents were cheating or not.Now go and buy this game and don't look back.

This is the best board game I have ever played, which I bought after playing it at a friend's house. I have had it just over a year now and it never gets old. It is a combination of charades, articulate, Pictionary, trivial pursuit and so much more. Because it has such a range of questions (involving humming, acting, impersonating, drawing, drawing with eyes closed, modelling out of clay, anagrams, general knowledge, etc etc etc) there really is something for everyone, and everyone will be good at at least one type of question. There are 3 lengths of game depending on how much time you have and how much fun you can take. Anyone who has been dubious about playing at the start always ends up loving it. I have always played with groups of 20 - 30 year olds and it really is a great laugh. Put your tablet, tv, iphone down and play this game - definitely worth it.

Played this multiple times whenever I had friends over. It's packed with so many tasks and trivia questions you won't ever be able to get through all of them! It comes with everything you need to play the game, including putty to create objects, pencils and paper and a timer. Definitely worth the price and a lot of fun packed in the box!

A great game to play after dinner, love how it incorporates aspects of different games, such as pictionary, word puzzles, charades etc. It's always popular and we usually play girls v boys! Only reason it loses a star is some of the data head answers are actually wrong and some of the word puzzles where you fill in the gaps have some of the letters on the next line so it's confusing

Having already purchased three different Cranium games I was worried that this new version would not live up to my expectations. Fortunately I was wrong and my husband and I have had a lot of fun playing this game with my two grown up children and friends. I would recommend this game for anyone who doesn't mind making a fool of themselves in front of others and enjoys testing their acting ,sculpting ,drawing and knowledge skills.

Great game - but you will need a minimum of 4 people. Lots of different games from cherades style to playdough to pictionary - all combined into 1 game. After you get over the initial reading the cards aloud to the other team the game is quite straightforward. You can play the 15 min, 30 min 60 min versions - which basically amount to openeing the board out to its full shape to allow for more squres on the board. This is an ideal Christmas Day game for families age 15+ as many of the facts and words are designed for a slightly older audience, with some of them being a bit "american".

Never experienced such variety from a board game.Humming a tune to your team mate, then making something out of playdoh, next answering a general knowledge question. Also very good that there are 3 board sizes for quick, medium or long games. After 2 games of the longest version (takes around 1 - 1 1/2 hours / game), we swapped to the medium sized board (taking more like 30 min - 1 hour) and found this one more suited to us.Great fun for all ages (16+ according to the manufacturer); especially in larger groups/teams (min 4 players required).Great for a laugh with friends.
