Bees are nature’s best friend, as most plants and flowers depend on pollination from bees. Bees are by far the most prolific pollinators on our planet. A single native bee can contribute to several thousand blooms per day. Many species of bees make their home in preexisting insect holes and crevasses in trees so they will be naturally drawn to the bamboo tubes in your SANGER Bee House. Excellent for providing a nesting place in the spring and summer, and as a refuge in the autumn and winter. Many other bee houses are made from the typical bird house design and wood from the standard hardware stores. Your SANGER bee house is made from high quality natural bamboo with a unique rain drop design that would look perfect in any yard or garden. Also comes equipped with eco-friendly hanging rope that is better on your branches and provide greater flexibility for hanging in tight spots than your typical metal hanging hooks. Help supports the natural habitat of these bees as it is the best way to boost productivity in your yard or garden. You will notice better blooming flowers and vegetables that will multiply like never before. ***Add to Cart Right Away – Plus Get Extra one for family and friends***

Very well made, well packaged and arrived on time and in solid condition. Reading the blurb that came with it, it says that it will last for aprx 2 years. It is very well made so providing you take precautions to shield it from the harshest weather it should last longer. Its very pretty latticed wood and it looks lovely hanging over my flower bed where the flowers that bees like are. The bamboo isn't 'stuck' inside, I don't know if that is just mine or it's for all but I like this aspect as it means if any split or rot due to weather they can easily be replaced. I would recommend for yourself or as a gift.April 2019 update... Its still in good condition. None of the lattice work has come undone, none of the bamboo has split. Its currently in full residence which is good. Came back just now to buy another one as its popular with the bees and there aren't enough homes to go around. Its currently unavailable which is a shame because i trust this product.

Looks ok. No bees though.
Looks ok. Way it’s assembled could be tidier. But no bees yet.. not sure that that‘s the product‘s fault though...

Bee heaven
Behold! Picture included shows a bee butt as he sets up house. He’s been in and out of the hole all day, setting up the furniture, curtains, and then rearranging it all to his liking. So far, I haven’t seen anything but bees using this, so that’s a relief. I was worried about wasps taking over, but no signs of them. This has been a bee attractor so far, and all bees that have taken up residence for their young have been friendly. I garden and plant pollinator friendly flowers beneath and around their house while they build nests in the tubes, and we work together harmoniously. Seeing how well this has worked, I will buy more for the other flower beds in the yard.

I have had carpenter bees bore into my garage trim for a few years. The option was to use some kind of bee spray to eradicate, but that wasn't an option at all. I installed the bee house near where the bees were drilling into my trim. They quit drilling into my garage door trim and moed into the bee house.

They moved right in...
No need ordering live mason bees. Local wild bees came right to it and moved right in the first warm week we had. We got a wide variety of solitary bees moving in too. I've seen a small horned mason bee that I cannot find in any of my guides even. I doubt it is a new species but I certainly have never seen one like it myself so such a find is just a testament to how well they like the nest. I am very pleased and will likely order more like it as I see the one I got filling up soon.

Love my mason bee house - UPDATE
I love my mason bee house. We have quite a few mason bees living in strange holes near my house, so I decided to purchase this bee house for them. It was packaged well and came as described. It only took a few days for the bees to find it and start filling it. We only have about 9 tenants at this point, but I'm hopeful that next year there will be more as these bees emerge and come back to fill more holes. I have this hanging on the soffit under my gutter so it's out of the direct weather. I'm interested to see how it holds up.UPDATE June 2019: Almost two years later and I still absolutely love my bee house!!! It's almost full this year and it's held up very well. It is hanging under my soffit and out of direct weather, but I do keep it out all year long. It's been really interesting watching them. They are non aggressive so you can get pretty up close without them getting very agitated. Highly recommend!!

This came in great condition. I wish it came with directions
This came in great condition. I wish it came with directions. I had to look them up online and found that I can't use this until next spring. By the time I ordered it, the bees were already ending their pollination period. However, I will have it for next year.

I'm very happy already to see activity around the house already
The product was as described. I did not find any of the issues mentioned in a different product review. I own other Mason beerhouses .and all the bamboo shoots seem very close in size. I'm very happy already to see activity around the house already. Thank you well worth the price

Beautfully crafted.
Beautifully crafted, works well. I have a large carpenter bee population and have been attempting to guide them away from my house. This works well. The bees were almost immediately making a home here.

It's pretty, too
The bees are digging it! I got some native mason bees and they plugged some of the holes with mud just days after the females emerged. It's pretty, too. A couple of the rods fell out when it got turned upside down, but went back in easily.

For the bees!
I purchased this for my sister. She can't hang it outside just yet (too cold), but she can't wait till the spring to hang it outside. She doesn't know what to expect, but she hopes that many honeybees will make their home in the bee house!

Great house
This is a nice size insect house for the ~6-foot tall garden hooks. Mine arrived with a pungent smell of varnish or lacquer, but it dissipated over the first week in the sun. Within about 10 days, some leaf-cutter bees laid eggs inside. You can see the two closed tubes on the left side in the photo.--Added new photo with bee just waking up in the morning--

Waiting
So far, after two months hanging mostly in the sun, there have been no bee inhabitants. I'm still waiting. Construction on the mason bee house is good. I'd buy it again.

Didn't attract any bees to nest in it.
We followed the instructions and hung it high on the south side of a plum tree adjacent to our garden. No bees ever nested in it. We did have a cool summer and will try again next year.
