Great value
Metal casing, feels decent quality and does exactly what I need i.e. gives me additional ports when plugged into my Vodafone Router in the living room, which doesn't have enough. Worked flawlessly since I installed it.

Cheap and but very cheerful for a PoE switch!
Note: This is for the LS105GP, a LiteWave PoE+ model. Not the LS105G, nor the TL-SG1005D.Needed a switch to power my desk phone and the landline base station at home and was sick of using PoE injectors. This one seemed good and yeah, it really is for £33, which is how much I paid. It has an auto-recovery function, which the manual says is for rebooting devices which are behaving abnormally. I can only assume this means it will temporarily cut power to that device's port, then restore it. It's not enabled by default but has a hardware toggle switch on the back. There's also a switch to extend the PoE range of ports 1 and 2.The 65W PoE budget is very good for the price, though I'll never get to maxing it out I suspect. It only has four PoE+ ports instead of all five, so the fifth port lacks it. This creates a slight oddity as that means port 5 is now your uplink to your router (or another switch), but that's not much of an issue. The only gripes I have with this thing are as follows:1. The Ethernet jacks are plastic. This seems to follow the LiteWave design where products are made cheaper by omitting higher quality metal RJ45 ports. In the short term I doubt this will be an issue, but perhaps something to note.2. The power brick is larger than the switch itself. It's scarily large for just 70 watts! I hope one day gallium nitride power supplies trickle down to cheap PoE switches like this one.3. The mains cable included with the brick is miserably short, which is very unlike TP-Link. It's one of the 'Mickey Mouse' IEC C5/C6 cables. In conclusion, it's a really dinky little switch that I like, but that power brick is too large and the plastic Ethernet jacks raise durability concerns. However, for £35-40, it's still worth the money.

to Link 5 port switchSG 1005D
As previous reviews, this item works straight out of the box. Powerline connection used for the TV, relief on wifi for sky Q box. After resetting the Sky box several times, decided to try the switch. Plugged in, connected the incoming cable and two outgoing cables. Setup working perfectly. Small lightweight design, ideal. Very pleased with purchase.
