Schwalbe Lugano 700c x 25 Road Racing Bike Tyres and Tubes (with Puncture Protection) - Black x 2

I’ve used this brand of tyre before, and they’re pretty good. I had the rear tyre on my bike (not the same brand) quite literally explode on a run out because the side wall was spent… so, looking around for a replacement, these where my first choice. From this supplier, the delivery was quick and the price is spot on for two tyres and tubes (just as well I got two tubes, as I popped one fitting it haha!) I’m satisfied.

Very grippy tyres. Good for commuting in winter. Zero punctures. Very heavy though and srubbed a good couple of mph off my Conti 4000sii. Having said that, I'd put 100% Faith in them on a commute or long winter ride.Easy to fit. Well made. Excellent value with the tubes too.I'm knocking the comfort down due to high rolling resistance.

Fitted the tyres quite easily, and no problems out on the road. They look and feel well. Too early to commit on puncture resistance and durability. Only tried so far in the dry cannot say about grip.

Waste of time and money…bought to use on my commuting bike (fixed gear) after my continental gators finally gave up after 3 years.I only put one on the back to begin with because my old front still had a little life - after just over a week of riding it started rolling on the rim when cornering tightly - now anyone who knows anything about bikes will know that it is impossible to corner too low on a fixed gear bike as your pedals will contact the floor… none the less, the tire was giving me plenty of grief when taking certain corners. To begin with I put around 95 psi in the tires to give a little more comfort on my ride into work, I thought this could be the reason for it rolling on the rim so I pumped the rear up to 110 - this, to my surprise created a bobble in the tyre which made riding it a complete misery. This caused me to launch the bike into the shed and pull out my summer bike.Recently it has been rather wet, so out came the winter bike again. I took the other tyre (the one I saved for the front) and swapped them over whilst at work - this on has no bobble in it (thanks goodness) however on my ride home it was slipping off the rim once again!-Waste of time-waste of money-buy something else
