Really useful item
These items are really useful , these covers are going to help reduce the amount of cling film used. I have used these on an item that need to go into the freezer and it has stayed secure.. The delivery was quick and packaged well. I would recommend this product.

A Great New Use for Silicone
I was first introduced to the idea of Silicone lids when given a Charles Viancin 'Lily Pad' style cover. It worked really well and looked quite stylish and quirky, but because of the protruding handle wasn't something that would easily stack. The irregular shape also turned out to be less helpful when the bowl to be covered was of a similar size to the cover. The concept however is great, as you're saving money and the environment by using far less single use clingfilm. And you can take things straight from the fridge and put it in the microwave, cover and all.So, when I decided to purchase a few more, I focused a lot more on the practicalities and the price, as you seem to be paying a lot more for the Viancin design that doesn't really add anything. These EacoLids seem to fit the bill completely: The central handle protrudes enough to be able to grasp it easily (although generally I find it's easiest on all of these types of covers to lift the side of the lid); the inside is uniformly circular with a small hanging loop, so they fit nicely on various bowls, even where the circumference is a close fit. Unlike some of the lids on the market, the inside of the cover is practically entirely smooth, so you can use the cover on pretty much any size dish. Others I have seen have set circles on the inside which make them a bit more difficult to use if the dish is the same size as such a circle. From a cost perspective, these are much better value for money than the Viancin ones.I would suggest it would be worth offering a 'suction based' hook to go with their set of 4 lids, so that they can be hung on a cupboard door or kitchen wall. This would be the 'complete package'. I ended up purchasing such a hook separately for this purpose.

Good idea. Not so good in practice.
I liked the idea. Unfortunately, in practice it doesn't work quite so well. The suction often doesn't work, so the lids don't stay on. They are still useful for simply covering a bowl of food temporarily, but that's not the same thing. They seem well made and of solid material.

These work great! I use them for storing leftovers and I hope to buy much less cling film. I also use them for covering food to keep it warm. I find the medium sizes especially useful.

Excellent Product
I was looking to replace my old betterware splash cover for the microwave, mine was so old and was cracking and breaking. I thought I would try these, there is one for whatever size bowl I use. A gentle push in the middle of the cover creates a seal so I can store food in the fridge too. They tell me I can use them in the over as well but haven't done that so far. I am really pleased with these covers and would recommend them

Requires suction
Not what I expected. Will only fit a perfectly round container with which it can create suction.

Silicon Lids
i'm really impressed with these lids, they are really thick silicone and at this stage only tried them out on odd dishes. but having received them and looked them over i think they will be ideal for the reason of purchasing them. they seem to create a vacuum as described in the product description. i have a couple of pans that don't have lids so think these will be ideal as well as covering food in the fridge. highly delighted with them and looking forward to using them in the kitchen.
