I installed Proxmox on it, following a similar installation from YouTube. It is currently running my DNS and DHCP servers. It does have a fan built in. It is by no means noisy, but it is audible. It had been running continuously for ten days, at the time of this review. The case feels warm, but not hot. The documentation could be more detailed, but I have no regrets.

My second NUC (first is a 3 year old i5...and still my main pc), but always good to have a back up. Still can't believe the price paid, which is around £350 exc VAT. Silent, easy to install, has Windows 11 pre-loaded and within an hour I've got a full back up of my current i5, but on an i7 system which is twice as fast. Beautiful machines and if you don't need a screen when you're travelling (use a hotel tv) then it's unbeatable. Postage went a bit wayward but it's here now and everything I expected. If you want to play games on these, think twice however. The built in graphics card won't easily handle some recent titles. These machines are for work and home use, but I do manage to run photoshop very successfully.

Think this pc came with win 10 pro so was a bit upset to start but it soon updated to 11 pro so no worries this is a good company for pcs I've used them twice now with no problems

I bought the i7 version with 16GB RAM, and 1/2 Terabyte SSD. Way more than needed for ROON but the price difference over barebones version made it a no brainer. Pleased to see a Kingston SSD and Lexar RAM installed.Reset and installed ROCK. Streaming high res-music from local storage, Qobuz, and Tidal, for 10 hours a day, all week, faultless, very fast, tiny!Connected to Cambridge Audio CXN V2 (ROON Ready) over ethernet and controlled by iPad Pro. CXN and Stream Magic alone has never been this stable in 4 years.

Easy to set up and really fast

Had a Ryzen 7 which has been nothing but trouble. Will never ever have another. This is all branded kit and worked straight out of the box with zero issues. Very happy customer.

This mini PC rivals a highly spec'd tower PC I bought a few years ago and costs far less. It was the best way for me to make the transition to Windows 11 since I didn't need laptop portability and I already had a big display.
