Amazing
This is the 6th book in the series and focuses on Archer and Mac although as always, the rest of the family are featured as well.I loved this book. It was so great getting to see a different side of Archer than has been shown in the previous books and I really loved the hidden depths to him. Mac is awesome as well and I loved how he took everything in his stride and fit in so well with the rest of the family. As always there is plenty of murder and mayhem with this family and the ending leads you in so nicely to book 7 which I really cannot wait for as I have been desperate for Aiden’s story!A fantastic series and well worth a read!

Archer!!
Lunatic definitely is NOT a favourite book in the Necessary Evils series for one main reason - I just didn't like Mac. He seemed so arrogant and really annoyed me to distraction. Now that I've got that off my chest I can breathe!! I'm off to read Thomas and Aiden's book.

Surprising and stunning
A story of unknown deception and secrets, in a family so brutally honest with one another it was a surprising twist to read that one brother was keeping a huge secret from the others …. For YEARS! Fooling those who spot liars for a living is no easy task and Archer deserves an Oscar, I did not see that coming. Mac a delicious ginger snack! take no BS from Archer, he sees archer, he sees through the facade, the character the theatre of it all. I love the way Mac takes control of the situation giving archer time to not think, to not have to keep up an image, to just himself for once, I’m finding Mac he meets his match and he finds himself. I loved the mystery and the twists and turns.Ps everything about the paperback/ hardcover and Alt covers are perfect! The colour, the model, the graphics even down to the font of the writing all tie together so beautifully.

Archer & Mac Brilliant ❤
OH WOW...... Absolutely blown away by this series simply fantastic I've been waiting for Archer's story from the start love all of them but him I was captivated he stole my heart wanting to know is back story to the man he is now from the prologue the first meeting the pain and loneliness to meeting Mac the chemistry between them is red hot it sizzles of the page how vulnerable he is with Mac but he understands him in a way no one else does the connection between them is something truly special these two are made for each other. The bonding with Archer and Noah was simply amazing I shed a tear so beautiful and emotional.More of the Mulvaney's together the fun the banter also some torture you don't want to miss it recommend so much. ❤

Vegas Heat, Military Ops and Archer's match
Well hell, I love the entire Necessary Evils series, but this one took it to a whole new level. The books so far have hinted about Project Watchtower and the government being involved in Thomas's shenanigans, and now this - I'm guessing massive - story arc, has begun. This book focuses on Archer and his career as a drunken gambler to his his 'other' job. He meets Mac - brother of Shep from the Elite Protection Services series, and the two hit it off in the bedroom straight away. But a threat against Mac, the secret project and the other series link it all together in this book. The chemistry is sizzling between them despite Archer being the lad who protest too much, the odd bits of sweetness are adorable, and this high octane family mission is equally horrific, violent and vital. As always, the Mulvaneys and extended family are hilarious, but best of all, the hooks at the end for the lead in to the next book, left me gasping with delight and excitement.Bring it on!

Mac and Archer 🥰
Mac and Archer - in my top 7 Mulvany couples...way better than the murder twinsMiddle Life - Mac is in his 40's and I'm pretty sure Archer is at least 30LOVED that Mac is both comfortable and perplexed by the Mulvany’s. Having a brother that shares some of their eccentricities seem to make him an Archer whisperer. Also LOVED that Mac is bossy one of the pair.

Bring on the good stuff!
I actually did enjoy this book, probably more like 3.5 stars, the witty banter which I love is there, and its always good to see the characters from previous books in the series. I just feel like this book is a bit of a filler one in the series. I know for me personally I've been waiting for Thomas' story for the past three books. Not to say that this book is bad, it isn't, I simply wasn't as interested in it as some of the others. Maybe this is due to reading the series back to back, perhaps its just become a bit samey! Would still recommend, but maybe put a bit of space between them. Can't wait for the last one!

4.5 stars
I really enjoyed this. It might not be my favourite in the series but it's close. While I have my own personal doubts about just what flavour of neurodiverse Archer actually is, it doesn't take away from the fact I got sucked back into the Mulvaney family dynamic and I didn't wanna leave. Mac and Archer had the best push and pull I wanted a tiny bit more depth to Archer but I can't really complain. Well I can but who'd care amirite?
