Rod but broke in the holder.
This rod was in the rod holder and we hit a snag. The rod bent over and broke right below the reel seat. The drag wasn't tight on the reel even.

Great quality
Good for what's it rated but the two halfs don't exactly interlock and secure with one another. They keep separating every other cast which is extremely exhausting to force back together.

Heavy rod review
This rod is above my expectations. There was pride in the manufacturing of it. Very, strong, rugged and well made. Basically no plastic tells you the high quality of this rod. Took it out and "used and abused" it for 7 days straight. Handled perfectly. Do not hesitate to buy this. You will not be disappointed.
