The installation went fine per their instructions. once I installed everything seemed to work except that once it locked I could not take the key out. I tried to loosen the screws thinking that I over tightened but the key just wouldn't come out in the locked position. It did lock the door but ,again, the key could not pull out.I'm going to try and contact support and see what they can do and then will update my review.Update:After reading some reviews I found out that the key does not come out in the unlock position and will come out in the locked position. What I did was rotate the key unit 180 degrees and then I could lock the door and remove the key. But, when the door is unlocked the key cannot be removed apparently by design. This means that my pocket door when opened has a key sticking out of the lock and cannot be completely opened to hide the door within the wall. Not a very good design and not sure why.Read other reviews and they are saying the same thing.

I liked that there were different size screws. The doors I used this for were thin and the screws were there. I used a chisel to flush the striker plates and it locks without a problem. I am not sure if I hadn't played with this enough, but I can't remove the key with it unlocked. This could be a problem if it is on a key set. I am the type who doesn't read the manual unless I have to. Unless I missed something, the key will not come out unless it is in the locked position.
