had to reposition boxes
The lights come with a "universal" mounting bracket which wouldn't work with the position of my boxes. If your screws holes in the box are at 90 degrees, you're out of luck with lining up with screw holes properly. However, after struggling with another set of lights that had issues with their mounting for different reasons, I realized that I was able to rotate my electrical boxes and get them to mount properly.There are some lights that have a dual crossbar type mounting bracket that you can slide to where you need it that would be a lot more universal.The lights are very attractive. The construction is solid and the shades are good quality. The gold is more bronze in person than it appears in photos, but I like that color better. Just an FYI if you are trying to match it to your fixtures.The wires are rather thin. I trust them fine with LED bulbs, but I wouldn't put an incandescent bulb in there.
