It works!
This worked as designed.I have a laptop that I wanted to use a triple monitor setup. The laptop had an HDMI and a mini displayport, but I needed to connect it to another HDMI input on a monitor. I got this adapter, plugged it in, and so far, it has worked flawlessly. Rest assured that this little adapter will do the trick.

Good bang for the buck
The Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter on my mac air conked out after many years of use and this UOES adapter turned out to be a fine replacement. I use my mac to stream to our 86'" TV and this adapter provides a sharp picture and has no trouble delivering an uninterrupted stream. At just $9 this is one of the best priced quality adapters available.

Works Perfectly for my 2015 MacBook Pro
I have an older MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) and I use it with an external monitor. The built-in HDMI port started acting weird (strange purple lines) so I got this handy little converter. Now I'm plugged into the monitor through the Thunderbolt 2 port on the left side of the MacBook Pro and the external monitor (ACER) is working perfectly. All of the colors, resolution and dimensions are perfect.Shipping was quick and it even arrived with a little cap on the male MiniDisplay port side to keep dust and debris out. This is a good product from a good seller and I recommend it if you have this very specific need.

works well with my Surface Pro 3
This uoeos mini-DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter cable works perfectly with my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and an HDMI-to-VGA adapter cable to display onto my VGA monitor. No driver install required. The Surface Pro was given to me by a relative. I’ve acquired a couple of USB-A docking devices for monitor display and other functions. This uoeos mini-DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter cable frees up the one USB-A port on the tablet for other purposes, for a decent price. Recommended.

Durable Corded MDP-to-HDMI Hampered by Lower Than Modern Standards
This is a well made, durable corded adapter. However, it falls short on several typical standards in use with any laptop bought in the last 2~3 years.First - most importantly, is the lack of support for UHD (4K) resolution. It will only work up to HD (1080P) @ 60Hz. While most integrated GPUs can convert HD @ 60Hz to UHD @ 30Hz, it's far from ideal if you're gaming, or even simply using a larger monitor or flat-screen TV. Second - it lacks HDR support as it only supports HDMI 2.0, not HDMI 2.0b or the more common HDMI 2.1. Third - It's only supports up to Thunderbolt 2, not Thunderbolt 3. With Thunderbolt 4 becoming more common in 2022 machines, this is still unlikely to be a deal breaker, as Thunderbolt typically ports through USB C type connections, which are capable o9f many kinds of data. DP, like DVI or HDMI are video channel standards. Simply put, this lack of support for anything higher than TB2 is only going to be an issueif your laptop has a USB C port that pushes DP as well. But th, you'd need a mini-DP to USB C adapter, making the issue moot. Lastly, its mono-directional, meaning it won't convert from HDMI to DP. This can be an issue for some, like myself, who will often find that I would have been able to configure something if the adapter just went "the other way as well", whatever was being "adapted", so to speak. However, as I had a very specific use in mind, which was to connect my 2012 Lenovo X1 Carbon - which not only still works, but works well, despite having been dropped numerous times and played coffee filter as well. It's my backup, and I have an HDMI / USB A KVM as I more often have not than two laptops running. And for that, this works just fine. However, others will find it lacking compared to many comparable offerings, and for use with a 3-year old laptop, which does limit the market for this device considerably. And it's relevance is only going to continue to diminish as standards keep rising.
