Excellent monitor
Upgraded from a 5" free world monitor to this. Really pleased with the features and brightness of this one.

light weight ( without battery ) very good screen with multiple menu options.
Great field monitor, only let down by the cold shoe connection it is very slack so id imagine would easily slip out of there.ive had to purchase a further screw so i can put it on my cage for better fitment on the arri point.other than that the screen is excellent nice and clear with plentiful options and touch screen at this price is a must.shame you have to purchase batteries separate.

Very good monitor but drains batteries fast
Well I tried it out today on my Nikon Z6II giving it a 4k signal from my camera, I used an NP-F750 battery fully charged and within 15 minutes of on/off/on/off occasional use through the day the battery level was down from 100% to 86%. WOW does this monitor drain batters fast, if you plan on using it for a few hours you'll most likely need maybe three or four NP-F750 batteries, maybe two if you use NP-F950 batteries. That wouldn't be so bad if the batteries took an hour to charge but the NP-F750 takes about five hours to charge, the NP-F950 take around six hours to charge.I'm wondering if the monitor can be powered by a dummy battery with a USB-C cable at the end and using a USB-C PD (Power Delivery) power bank but I can't find out how to contact the manufacturer to ask them. This if it works would be a great option because some USB-C power banks can output as much as 100 watts from one port to power laptops so powering a monitor should be no trouble and these USB power banks hold as much as 25,000 mAh.

Awful
I found it it was overblown hype, just magnifies view. Gives a few gimmicky things. I found I could focus and get just as good shots without it. Ordered same day for a trip. Arrived next day which means I couldn't take it with me. Returned for refund still not received after a week. First review was rejected cos you cant complain about service apparently. I am reviewing where I buy as this is poor service. And I didn't realize freedom of speech was banned on amazon. And they needn't put thank you notes in packages.

Excellant
I look back on a long career taking photographs peering at the wee camera screen and wonder why I didn't invest in and external monitor before! A revalation.

Great display let down by poor power management and software glitches
This monitor looks fantastic and has attracted lots of positive attention on shoots. However, it just cannot be trusted.Almost immediately over summer shoots I ran into two different types of image issues:1. Flickering: The whole display flickers like the backlight was faulty. Not to be confused with flickering from LED lights. Power cycling the unit would sometimes fix it. Other times turning it off for an extended period would work.2. Blackscreen with coloured lines across. This was a show-stopper as the screen couldn't be used until I power cycled the unit (and again, sometimes had to power down for extended periods)Both problems 1 and 2 seemed to happen more frequently in summer (UK)In addition to those problems, another significant one was incorrect reading of NP battery levels. I've tried no less than 10 different NP batteries - sometimes I can go several hours without a problem. Other times a freshly charged NP battery will die within a few minutes (and these are the big 970's). Oddly though sometimes if I just power cycle the monitor, the battery level can increase and it's good for a short while. I did consider it was the batteries at fault so I bought a brand new set of two - both failed to power the unit more than a couple of minutes.Í have since tested all batteries in a Small HD monitor immediately after they failed in the Desview. All batteries functioned perfectly and reported correct voltage showing they had a full charge. The problem definitely lies with the Desview.Overall I am extremely disappointed with this monitor. It looks good but will let you down time and time again.

Great quality picture and brightness
I have tried other screens and this one is the best I have tried in quality image and brightness. Comes with the basic accesories and you need to get a battery to make it work, fortunately for me I had some spares. The touch screen is a plus, very easy to navegate trhough the menus and loads of tools to help you get the most of your shots.
