Topeak BackLoader Bike Bag

Originally purchased the large (16L?) and it was too big to fit between my seat and the top of the tire. I returned it and purchased the 10L and it is perfect. Excellent fit, snug straps and doesn’t have much movement. Haven’t loaded it down with all my gear but for the few items I had in it, it handled great. Durable material and looks very high quality. Overall very happy and would recommend.

I purchased this in August 2024 to carry my clothes for a very fast, 2-day Ohio to Erie Trail ride. It will sway slightly from side to side so I suggest the heaviest items to be packed first with the lighter items last.

WOW! Bag is exactly what I was looking for. I got the 6 L. It holds windbreaker all folded up plus some essentials. In the photos I included my windbreaker , bike lock and a hand full of other small misc items are all inside the bag . There is plenty of room to open it up more and add a pair shoes or other items . It’s tight when it’s strapped down, it doesn’t wobble. I forgot the bag was even on my bike on my 25 mile test ride this afternoon. I highly recommend this bag. Now that fall weather is coming I need to bring a jacket along . In summer I will switch back to the smaller bag from Topeka that I generally use when I only need to bring a handful of items. Very good quality, well-made, well thought out, and worth every penny.PS- I never write reviews So the fact that I took the time to do this is big.

First, this bag does not come with the yellow labels/tags as shown in the picture. What I received was entirely black, which is OK! I knew the newer bags ditched the yellow, so I was excited to see it was gone.Second, the bag is super high quality. It is surely going to last a long time. However, when the bag is not full, the roll up and clip close design isn't great. When I ride with the bag full it is great, it fits a change of clothes, tools and flip flops. You could maybe squeeze some shoes in there if you got creative. I just wish it looked a little better when empty so I wouldn't have to take it on and off my bike for shorter rides.

This is a very well thought out piece of kit. I like this size for an all day adventure compared to the larger size available. Holds plenty. I was concerned about purchasing since it is a new product. Since using it I am completely satisfied. It does what it is supposed to and is just he right size for those day long adventures.The

tip: use some tape just below where you intend to connect to the seat stem. Loop around a dozen times so it's wider than the seat stem, then connect the bag above the tape on the seat stem.... this will support the bag and keep the bag from slipping down the stem.I've had to get off this bike in a hurry on some gnarly trail sections and once I ended up putting 1/4 or so of my weight on the bag while trying to get off the bike to avoid a fall - no damage. So I expect one could exceed the weight rating on this.

Works great on road bike, out of the way when riding, tucks nicely

This is a great quality bag. Fits a lot of stuff. It can be a little floppy if not full though.
