Heats up fast. Nice to have the cooling air function. If you're used to a regular flat iron mechanism for open and close, it takes a few times to get used to straightening hair with the open/close lever like a curling iron. It is definitely shorter than my other flat irons so I can't put a long slice of hair in the clamps. If you put too much hair in the smaller iron, it does pull on the hair strands on the outer sides of the plates. I have shorterhair now, so that's not much of an issue. Overall, a nice iron to straighten or curl for beachy waves. And with the air vents, much less burning the hair!!

I have a lot of hair tools, but this one was difficult to manage. My hair is past my shoulders so maybe that had something to do with it. My hair would hardly curl and I had to keep going over the same piece of hair over and over and the curl was barely noticeable. It didn’t look any different than my regular flat iron or curling iron.

I almost returned this because it took me a solid 5 times to really figure out the best angles/positioning. But once I did, it was AMAZING. The key is to keep it moving the whole time. It's not a typical curling iron where you hold it in one spot the whole time. You're supposed to keep pulling your hair to make the curl stronger. It used to take me a solid 25-30 minutes to curl all my hair with a typical iron, and now it takes me 10. So much faster, and I don't feel like it's harming my hair either.

I really like it. Didn’t have any trouble fixing my hair with it for the first time. Really like the cool air that blows out when using it. Glad I didn’t spend double the price for the other brand.

I've never been able to get my hair to curl, watched one tutorial on YouTube. So easy to use and not hot to the touch. Definitely worth the purchase
