I cannot say enough how much I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. Switching my son from his crib to a toddler bed and then full sized bed was terribly difficult. First we tried metal bed rails, which he HATED and therefore refused to sleep in his bed. We then moved his mattress to the floor and he looked at us like we were crazy. Next we tried getting him a full-sized bed with one side against the wall and the other open. This was (not surprisingly) a fail since he kept falling on the floor in the middle of the night. I finally found these (I bought two) and I was a little hesitant to try them because I figured they would slip all over the mattress. I was wrong. I just put one on each side of his bed and we've had no problems!A few notes:-This listing is for just one. We bought two so we could move my son's bed away from the wall.-When you first take it out, it does take awhile to "inflate" for the first time.-Very soft material and not terribly tall...just tall enough where a kid won't fall out of the bed.-The carrying case is an amazing bonus because I can't count the number of times we have taken these with us on trips.-No need for special sheets...these work well with regular sheets.-If you line it up at the bottom of the bed it won't interfere with pillows.

I bought this for an alternate purpose, but it works just as I the product is intended. My dog developed epilepsy, and the vet said he shouldn't be on my bed so he doesn't have a seizure and fall of the bed and possibly injure himself more. (side note, but prevalent to the story: I changed my bed to a twin from a queen, and got a low frame, maybe a total of 1.5 feet off the ground including the mattress) But I still wanted him to come snuggle up some mornings when we stay in bed late or are just relaxing, however, I wanted some security for my dog. That's when I found this product. It works PERFECTLY. I actually have it at the bottom of my mattress (under the fitted sheet) and then have it curl around the right side (the left is up against a wall so I didn't need the protection there). And it's actually saved him several times. He's had 2 seizures when up with me during the late morning, and this product is the reason he's still safe (although a 1.5 foot drop isn't bad and he would just land in his memory foam dog bed [spoiled, I know]) but I would and have recommended this to family friends who have issues with their kids and need a bed rail. I keep it on my bed all the time, and it doesn't bother me at all, I still feel like I have space to move, and it actually keeps the blankets from weighing my feet down. I plan on purchasing a second one for when we go RV camping, I know I could just pack this one along, which is why I bought this since it can fold down back into the bag, but I want a second one around just in case.

I was skeptical and a little scared because some reviews said it never expanded and at first mine didn’t either. I needed this because I have a two year that only wants to sleep in a big bed. NOT MINE. NOT WITH ME. he wants a full sized bed to himself. Well let me tell you guys a little trick. If it’s not expanding fast enough or at all throw it in the dryer! Literally instantly popped out.

I was underwhelmed by this product. The photos make the rails look much larger than they are. They are not terribly high and my toddler could easily get out of the bed with them on (luckily a low pull out sofa and we cushioned around just in case). Unlike other reviews they did open up quite a bit but still never were as deep as I would have expected. The listing title is also very deceptive as you only receive ONE rail with the purchase, something we did not discover until we were at our destination. They are very portable and easy to travel with.

My one year old is kind of a crazy sleeper, rolling all over the bed even when we are in it with him. So far we have never had an issue with him falling off the bed while using this item. He can climb over it when he is awake (our mattress is on the floor) with little trouble. Now he's safe when I put him down for a nap using this bed rail. It has also allowed me to sleep more soundly knowing that I don't have to hang onto him all night.

This worked perfectly for what I needed. I needed a soft bumper to keep my 3 year old son from rolling on me when he comes into my bed.I love that they can be rolled up easily and brought to hotels ect.The first time you open the box and unroll then just be aware that they can take 4-6 hrs to puff up. Once they puff up, it’s like ordinary memory foam.I put it under the mattress protector and sheet for extra protection of this product

It didn’t fully inflate after 24 hours. I emailed the manufacturer and they suggested putting it in the dryer to help it fully inflate. That did the trick.

This has been a great option for my 99 year old grandmother. She needs a reminder where the edge is in the bed. This has prevented accidental falls from the bed.
