Rock Dog

I really liked the animation and the story of this movie. I think it might have directed toward the young but I - being older - enjoyed it too. I think it has a great message. I think most of the family would enjoy it too. The music was good.

My daughter loves this movie. It's one that is repeated often at our house. The overall message of the film is a good one about following your dreams and staying true to yourself.

Not sure why people are so critical of this movie. I have an energetic 3 year old and it kept his attention 6 times now. He's even been inspired to grab his guitar. A lot of the mainstream movies have not been able to achieve what Rock Dogs did, including keeping my attention. The writing was entertaining, the music was current and the animation was well done. Maybe the critical reviews are looking for something more artsy fartsy interjecting depressing politics. I read one critical review about there not being girls in the script other than his girlfriend (who is also the bass player in the band). I'm not sure how that reviewer knows the gender of all of the characters (all animals) or which gender they identify with--or why a social quota is important in a kids cartoon where the characters are all animals. I guess I didnt see any anti-Trump, climate change, etc either.--so in the words of Angus Scattergood "chill the fudge cake out." I was just looking for a fun movie to watch with my 3 year old son and forget about my adult life/the aforementioned politics.....mission accomplished. ROCK N ROLL!

This one is easy to watch with your kids.

Rock dog has been a favorite for my son since he was younger. He still asks to watch it pretty regularly so we repurchased the movie when it's got ruined.

Had grandkids over and we watched. Three ages, 5,7, & 9 all watched and enjoyed.

The movie is great. Good musical soundtrack. Fun adventure. It might not be for everyone but I found myself really enjoying it. Typically if I find a movie boring, I'd just play on my phone while the movie is going.. but this one kept my attention.

This movie is pretty meh. The Blu Ray follows suit. I can't be to hard since I only paid $10. Lots of unexplained plot points. It's inconsistent to say the least.However, the heart of the movie isn't awful. The animation isn't terrible. I would give it 2.5 stars as it's very average but it's not painful to me at least.I've seen reviews saying it's garbage. Sure it's not the greatest movie but it's pleasant. It isn't overly annoying and the main protagonist is likable and sympathetic.The character designs are cute and enjoyable to. Not ugly or awful to look at.Honestly it's a good, safe kids movie if you are looking for that.

We had rented this movie a long while back and loved it so I bought for the kids so we can watch it again and again. Really good family movie!
