I don't understand how this product has received such favorable reviews. Maybe it's the application. The market seems more geared toward mobile devices like phones which is not what I purchased mine for. I bought mine to use on my boat's GPS/chartplotter. The screen had already been scratched once. I read glowing reviews of this product, claiming that it not only prevented scratches but would potentially render existing ones invisible. Not for me it didn't! I was painstakingly careful to apply this shield exactly as directed, which as you will see from the instructions is no small feat. Even so, I ended up with bubbles that never went away. Worse, is that the finish, applied to an already matte finish, actually made the screen blurry. This product is NOT cheap, it is NOT easy to apply, and is NOT worth the trouble of trying to return either. You couldn't pay me to try it again. Fortunately, it didn't do any lasting harm to my chartplotter. I gave it two weeks, living in denial that something promising to be so good could be so bad, and finally just peeled it off.
