Amazing product. This is a game-changer!
I was hesitant to try a menstrual cup of any sort. The idea of reusing something that collected my menstrual blood gave me the creeps. But I talked to a few ladies that had tried them, and then I went and dropped $50 for disposable feminine products that usually still managed to ruin my underwear by leaking. Enough was enough - there had to be a better solution! I started researching and learned more about menstrual cups, and decided to give it a shot.In my usual fashion, I hit Amazon to read some reviews. I decided on the InvisiCup due to a few factors, as is my standard practice: 1. Rating/Reviews, 2. Value, and 3. Availability. I received my product quickly, and it was packaged well. I was pleased with the accesories that accompanied the cup, as well as the fact that I got a 2nd cup in the package deal. The storage bag is a sturdy material that feels like it will hold up through a few years of jostling in my purse. The wash bottle seems like it will be very convenient for use in a public restroom, although I bought some antibacterial wipes to use as well so I'm not sure how much use it will have. The cloth is a standard microfiber cloth, much like those you can purchase to clean lenses of eyeglasses. That's good, beacuse I'm sure with use it will eventually get stained and need to be replaced. The most important aspect of the package, of course, was the cups themselves. They are made of a pliable but sturdy medical grade silicone. This means that they are hypoallergenic and smooth, which is vital considering their purpose. I used my cup for the first time yesterday, and my mind was blown!!! Inserting it was not difficult at all because I simply followed the included directions. My advice is this: take your time and relax. Remember the first time you used a tampon? It was a little weird and uncomfortable, but with practice you quickly became an expert. This is the exact same situation, but now you don't throw your money in the trash can or flush is down the toilet (literally). Anyway, I wore the cup on the 2nd day of my cycle, which is typically my heaviest flow day. I had the cup in for about 8 hours. I was wearing a pantiliner too, because I figured that, like my first few cycles learning to use tampons, I probably wasn't inserting it perfectly which meant there was a good chance for some leakage. I was wrong! This thing is amazing. It collected everything - liquid and bulk - with absolutely NO leakage! I love that it has measurent marks on the cup so you can actually see how much it collected, as I've always been curious but couldn't figure out a simple way to measure my flow. The only thing I can say about comfort is this: the sensation is almost identical to wearing a tampon. The stem of the cup sits right where a tampon string would. It's a slight pressure on your vaginal wall, just like a tampon, and it eases up after a few minutes of allowing your body to adapt, just like a tampon.I'm already feeling relief knowing that I'll probably never but tampons again. So glad I bought the InvisiCup!!!FYI: I am not, in any way, being compensated for this review. I'm just someone who feels very pleased with this product, and I want all future buyers to have a good review to convince them to try it out. This product's value may seem too good to be true, but I'm here to tell you it's not!

Love This Product! Highly Recommend InvisiCuo!
I waited until I had used my InvisiCup for 2 months before writing a review. I followed the directions and prepared the product as recommended by boiling it. I wanted to see how hard the InvisiCup would be to use so I did a practising run. I highly recommend doing this! I followed the fold in half method. It was a little awkward at first inserting and I found that actually fold it in half and kind of tucking it down in the center works better for me. I took a picture for reference. I just decided to insert it while I was in the shower made it easy. Felt a little strange at first. But just kind of like inserting a tampon. I talked to just a smidge at the bottom to make sure felt like it was in place. I only noticed that I was wearing it for just a little while. But soon I didn't notice it at all. I even slept in it that first night to see how it would feel. The next morning I took it out and it was easy to remove. Just remember not to pull on the tab at the bottom you only use that as a guide so you can pinch the bottom of the cup itself and pull it out gently. You can definitely feel like a little suction as you remove it. It's not an unpleasant feeling. Evan started using it the first day of my period. My first two days are very very heavy. I was not sure just how well this little cup was going to do. My first two days I only left it in no longer than 5 hours before emptying it. Honestly it takes couple of days of getting used to getting comfortable with dumping it and it's best to just kind of sit on the toilet when you do it. It's very easy to grab from the bottom and gently pull it out and dump it that way so you don't make a mess. The little rinsing bottle comes in handy if you make sure to fill with water first before you sit on the toilet. It's very easy to reinsert once you've rinsed it out.On light days I've had it in up to ten hours. I used it while doing some power walking, regular daily work & walking sitting at a desks for a while, using an elliptical and sleeping . Got to say it never leaked, not even once!!!! I am very impressed with the InvisiCup and highly recommend it to all my friends &family. No more buying disposable non environmental friendly product every month! No more leaking! I will NEVER go back to tampons or pads!!!!
