I bought a tablet, and found it to be useless for me, because I have fat, hotdog fingers. Propping it up and using it with an external keyboard and mouse, and using it like a laptop was the fix. This stand is an integral part of that equation. The spring-loaded button latch makes tilting the angle at which the tablet is propped up a breeze. It appears to be well constructed, and I have yet to find a fault with the device. It's quite stable, and offers excellent value for the money!

Okay, the fact that it holds an apple may only be helpful for still-life painters looking for a compact, mini travel easel but it's just good to know. Right?This little stand is AWESOME.It's much stronger than you may think it is. It holds my Galaxy Tab S4 tablet with supreme confidence.The stand doesn't wobble AT ALL.As soon as you feel the weight of it you know it's gonna be super solid.You can quickly and easily set it to a multitude of angles by pushing the big button on the hinge. Once you push the button in you can hold it in and move it to any angle you want or SLIGHTLY move the leg back you can then release the button and it will stay depressed until it hits the next preset angle. There are MANY angles. I counted. 23 total angles it can be set to.Because the stand rotates 270 degrees around, I find only 9 of those 23 settings usable if you want to incorporate the lip in front to hold a table, phone, etc.Out of those 9 angles, I found that I only really used 2 or 3 or em' so don't worry at all about the other 14 angles. Just know that if you want to get creative with this thing, it'll GIVE you angles.For a goof, You could use it as an easy access pen holder if you wanted to (see photo).I love the fact that there is a removable insert to fit phones or tablets with cases, even thick ones (see photo). I DO think it would've been really cool if there were a neat little storage area for the insert on the stand itself cuz you could lose the insert if you're not keeping track of it.The insert doesn't "snap" into the lip but it kinda wedges in tightly. It's well engineered. I tried to shake out the insert and it wasn't budging.Oh, also, you CAN open this with just one hand (see photo) but you may need to prop it up against your leg or a table or something like that.I bought 2 of these cuz I liked it so much and you just never know when you need it.Currently, we are using this when we go out to a restaurant with our 3-year-old so he can watch Peppa Pig on Mommy's phone and we can savor a brief moment of peace over a meal.LOVE it. Recommend it to anyone looking for a tablet/phone stand...or a mini, travel easel.Hope this was helpful.

Had one of those pillow stands (shaped like a unicorn) for tablet. I was annoyed at how big it was and how much space it took up and how awkward it was to try and use to position tablet next to computer. This little gadget is super sturdy and takes up pretty much no room. I can stand it on any hard surface.

This is a simple yet versatile stand. The many adjustment angles to get it at your preferred angle is a top selling point for me. I can get the perfect angle while laying down or sitting above it.The big flaw is it needs to be much more slip resistant. There is little to keep the device from sliding out of it. I found this out while swiping. There isn't grip on the solid rubber pads. They may as well be plastic. I remedied it by putting some rubber bands around it. The wrong texture of the rubber is the Achilles. It seems solid. It has unfortunately taken a few falls but nothing has changed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Lightweight and easy to use. Not cumbersome. However, you cannot use your charge while your phone is on this stand if your charging port is on the bottom. You’d have to turn your phone horizontally.
