I have two of these and wash them weekly. My pitbull is a sweet boy but licks his paws nonstop when anxious. He spends most of his time on our couch. This blanket protects the couch from odor and staining from the licking (or him jumping on the couch after playing outside before a bath), is definitely waterproof, and has held up great to weekly washing for 8 months so far. We use the patterned side as it’s a similar color to our couch. It looks surprisingly sleek since the fabric is a short nap and smooth - definitely better than throw blankets all over the couch! Be sure to get the right size. We went with the longer one to cover two cushions worth of space since our dog is large and likes to stretch out. It washes well and doesn’t seem to hold odor if you throughly dry after washing.

This waterproof throw blanket is awesome. We bought a new couch and have a 2.5 year old toddler and 2 cats so I was looking for something to put over the cushions to help protect them from spills, food, whatever. This blanket has exceeded my expectations and is so much more comfortable than the traditional waterproof covers you see everywhere marketed toward pets. The blanket is so soft and gets even softer and more comfortable after washing it a couple times. I can’t speak to longevity but it seems to be well made and I have no concerns about it at this point. It’s served its purpose as expected and is waterproof while still looking great and being comfortable enough to use as a blanket too. Everyone who has seen it on the couch just assumed it’s another throw blanket and had no idea it was waterproof. I wish there were more sizes available in the dark grey/dark grey combo because the throw blanket size is awkward on our oversized couch (not enough to cover both seat and back cushions but too much for just the seat cushions without folding it over and then it’s not long enough) but the next smaller size is barely wide enough to cover the cushions, but perfect in length. I also really like that this stays in place on the cushions really well. I would recommend this over the standard microfiber waterproof pet furniture covers. I’ve bought two of these already and plan to buy a 3rd when the color/size I need is available.

I've bought 4 of these. I like them. The last one I purchased, the first time I washed it the seam starts unraveling. Less than a month oldThis color shows some dirt from the pups and needs to be washed. Pretty disappointed. The others aren't being used where the pup frequently has a nap and look great. Worried when washed if this will happen to them too.

I purchased a large one last year for my bed, because I have a sweet, but emotional rescue dog that I didn’t quite trust while I was away. This past winter, I ended up putting it on my ivory sofa, so we could all enjoy cozying up together with the dog and watching tv without having to worry about muddy paws prints, as well as, spills and stains from grandkids and messy adults. It has double fabric, making it thick enough for claw protection, which is a plus. I have read that too many washes MAY affect it being waterproof, but any spills we have had, have not gone through yet, and I have washed and dried it many times in the past year. It is very soft and comfortable to sit on, in fact, I recently purchased the same color, ivory/beige, for 2 matching chairs, They fit perfectly, and are ideal for every day living. The best part is that I can easily remove them when I want to impress company and make them think we are super clean people who never spill!

The media could not be loaded.  These are definitely more for a bed. We are using two different sizes . But I think it’s the best option available. . Our sofa has a movable ottoman. so it’s set up like L shaped sofa . There was not an option for the exact measurements I needed. So I had to purchase the closes measurements available. We first purchased the larger one available the 88”x102”I believe .. but it didn’t drape down enough on the sides to cover the sofa completely. It covered the front and back only not the arms though. Then purchased the 63”x88” I believe.. To cover the side with the ottoman but it doesn’t have enough length to completely drape and cover the back of the sofa and the front of the ottoman . I’m trying to protect the entire sofa from small children and pets. Cats scratch on all sides they sneak around the back too! But with pulling and tucking and backing the sofa to wall. It s working! I wish they offered in a 68”x102” or even longer to tuck it and still have enough to drape and attempt to cover the entire sofa sides front and back. I do however recommend this because it really drapes nicely and it’s not plastic feel to the touch. It’s very soft not thick or thin not heavy but effective. Feels like a nice soft blanket. Wish they had in more colors like off white , cream or white.

I previously bought blankets that were waterproof off of Amazon for underneath where our dog sleeps at the foot of the bed. It has saved us a few times when my dog has puked up grass or part of a chew that he ate too fast the day before- we can just pick up the blanket and roll it up and wash it the next morning instead of stripping the bed in the middle of the night, or worse, it leaking to the mattress protector. This blanket is a great compromise between the tarp-like thin options that were not very comfortable for him, and the thicker, plush Sherpa-like options, that while great, took forever to wash and dry, which is not ideal for weekly maintenance. This blanket looks nice and feels nice and washes and dries with my normal sheets. He hasn’t had an accident on this blanket yet so I can’t see for sure if it’s 100% waterproof, But things are looking good so far! Will likely buy another.

Purchased to cover my dry clean only comforter because my elderly, accident prone dog sleeps on the bed. This blanket is easy to wash. I dry it on low heat. I've had it for a year now with no issues. Feels very soft and high quality.

It's a nice blanket waterproof especially when you have a little puppy who likes to sleep with you but the only thing I was disappointed is the size the measurements are off. Thanks

I am absolutely devastated as I paid a lot of money for this throw and waited a while for delivery, the throw itself is stunning but it arrived with a huge pen mark that I am unable to get off 😭

Purchased as a waterproof sheet for bedroom use, and it has performed beautifully. Cannot recommend this product highly enough.

When a cat has a bladder infection, they silently endure SEVERE PAIN, and as they communicate nonverbally, we have discovered (to our chagrin) that a desperate cat will begin to URINATE on our BEDS in an attempt to alert we humans to this fact. TECHNICALLY my cat peed on my SON/my son's bed multiple times before we figured this out. I HAD purchased a "waterproof" mattress cover when the bed was new, but the urine soaked through to his mattress. My sons both have migraines triggered by chemical smells, so the new "Nature's Miracle" is verbotten (and far more toxic smelling and less effective than the original formulation) could not be used to eradicate the odour., as is recommended to eschew additional deposits of urine from the same or another cat. I bought him a NEW MATTRESS PAD and THIS PRODUCT, which in my mind and his far better option, as it PREVENTS the urine soaking duvets, quilts, blankets, sheets AND mattress. I AM GOING TO BUY US EACH TWO such blankets so there is a clean SPARE to INSTANTLY REPLACE the soiled blanket (should the cats be inflicted with another bladder or urinary tract infection). So, please, don't MISINTERPRET if your litter trained cat pees on their FAVOURITE or MOST PET EMPATHIC human's bed. THEY NEED YOUR HELP & you must quickly take them to your highly competent, ethical vet who will diagnose and treat them. CATS can go downhill VERY VERY FAST, we lost my cat's sister AS A YOUNG CAT when we dilly-dalied BUT A FEW DAYS getting her to a vet when she tried to tell us she was in pain and we did not understand that she was in pain. THIS PRODUCT saves HOURS OF WORK washing one's bedding and PROTECTS the mattress as well. The urine POOLS on the top of the fabric, with NO PENETRATION, and the blanket's protective ability has NOT DIMINSHED despite it being washed perhaps SEVEN times in two weeks. I'd give this TEN STARS if possible. I considered buying a much more expensive protective blanket, as I was loathe to have my (adult) child upset/stressed but I am so glad I chanced that this less expensive product would PERFORM AS STATED.
