Coleman Powersports KT100 Gas Powered Off-Road Go-Kart

I bought this for my son for Christmas. We've had nothing but problems since we got it. Can't get it to crank half the time. Waste of money and my son is so disappointed. Also good luck with the warranty. They were supposed to email me info on where to take it to get worked on. Called several times and gave them my email so they could supposedly tell me where to take it, haven't received one yet. Don't waste your money on this!!!!!!!!!!

This is a review of the 3.0 HP KT100 or CK100 version. I chose this model because of the good price with free prime member shipping and because I had seen the Coleman go karts listed on other websites "top ten" go kart lists. This unit came with no assembly instructions, but it was fairly easy to do. Just add wheels, seat and frame first. Then follow up with the smaller parts, you should figure it out as you go. Since I had not seen other reviews for this model I wondered if there were easy modification for more speed. There are 2 easy quick fixes. On the floor under the gas pedal is a small bolt which you can adjust for more or less movement on the pedal. I just removed it so the pedal would go all the way down. Second, there is a very easy throttle cable adjustment. Just loosen the phillips head screw which will allow more movement of the throttle. I can get 22 mph with these simple adjustments. It is truly a one passenger go kart. I was hoping I could get 2 of the grandkids in but it doesn't look like that will work. I am 5' 7" and 150 lbs and can fit in fairly easily with my knees bent a little. Not uncomfortable, and just a hoot to ride! I love the price and quick free shipping. I bought this primarily for the grandkids to ride on the dirt roads around here, but it is comfortable enough for an average (or smaller) sized adult.

This was a perfect gift for my son. Although it didn't come with instructions to put it together we figured it out and he rides it every day.

I am giving this product 2 stars fir the following reasons: the 5mm square keys were not in the kit and the assembly instructions were not in the kit either! I had to purchase my own 5mm square keys to finish the rear drive assembly. Other than those two issues the go-kart is pretty sweet. Had those 2 mentioned gripes not been involved, I would have given 5 stars instead of the 2 stars.

It won't take 80 pound weight over a bump. Not worth it

download the directions online if you need them. assembly with my 7 year old was easy and fun. great quality go cart for the money. I would definitely buy again.

Goes fast enough to keep kids interest but not so fast to be extra dangerous.We have had some damaged parts but found replaccement parts through Coleman powersports. They even honored the warranty after suppling the sales slip.

We bought this Coleman go-kart with minor issues but we are having trouble finding the parts it needs to be up and running again. Can anybody help me with this?
