Canvas for painting !
I think this canvas is excellent value. I have spent the weekend stretching this canvas over some old frames, it has a lovely tight weave. I first tried using a drop cloth from the hardware store and found that the canvas just had too much give in it and was still quite rough even with all the gesso and sanding. So I decided to try this canvas and I'm so glad I did, what a difference! It doesn't really matter that it comes folded because the creases come out when you stretch it over the frame. Once stretched over the frame using heavy duty staples, I like to spray the prepared canvas with water and leave it to dry for a day and then paint three layers of gesso , finely sanding between each dried layer. The three canvass I've prepared feel strong, quite smooth, taught and robust and I can't wait to paint on them! I'm going to try building some bigger frames next now that I've worked out how to do this myself.

Decent, tough fabric perfect for bags
The fabric is nice and not too thick or too heavy duty, but feels sturdy. I was able to fold it over on itself plenty of times to make tbe straps for this canvas tote bag. You might want to wash it before working with it, though. Happy for the price and what I received, was able to make a nice tote bag. Thank you!

Good strong fabric.
Used this to back a fleece rug. Make sure you pre wash it as there is some shrinkage widthways.

Value for the money
Hand paint my canvas. It turned out better than I expected. Highly recommend this canvas.

Good durable fabric
Exactly what it says on the description- tip for use though - it needs a good iron before you start as it is either starched or is just really holding its creases. I of course was too impatient and am now regretting not ironing it properly first!I used it to back a screen/stair gate type thing to prevent my rabbits squeezing through the gaps and getting to the cables around our media centre stuff. The fabric is lovely, my execution is a bit pants, please forgive the photo.PS: Due to the nature of the fabric, fraying is to be expected - especially if you’re lazy like me and didn’t hem it properly!!
